Unit5What does she do?教学设计定远县民族小学 郭伶俐一、单元内容整体分析:本单元的话题是职业表达,主要功能是能简单介绍人物职业。主要语言结构为:What does your father / mother do? Where does he / she work? How does he / she go to work? 并围绕主题引出一系列词汇:singer,actor,actress,engineer,policeman,cleaner,accountant等。我们在四年级上册就接触过表职业的单词,如:farmer,doctor,driver等,教师要充分利用旧语言为新知识的教学服务。二、本单元教学目标:(一)知识目标:1能够掌握A、B两部分Lets learn,Lets talk中的四会单词(singer,writer,actor,actress,artist,engineer,accountant,policeman,salesperson,cleaner,where,work,TV reporter)和四会句子(What does your father / mother do? Where does he / she work? How does he / she go to work? )。2能够听、说、认读A、B部分Lets talk,Lets read中的白体句子。3了解元音u:u和辅音wjhtfd3的发音并读出例词。4了解Story time,Good to know等部分内容。(二)能力目标: 1能够简单介绍人物职业,如Hes / Shes a / an . 2能够运用句型“What does your father / mother do? Where does he / she work? How does he / she go to work? ”等询问他人的工作情况,并给出相应回答。3能够按要求较好完成Group work等活动。4能够听懂、会唱歌曲“My family”。(三)情感、策略、文化等有关目标:1情感态度:热爱生活、尊重他人劳动。2学习策略:能积极与他人合作,运用所学英语进行交流,共同完成学习任务。3文化目标:了解英语中职业名称对于不同性别的差异(Good to know)。三、本单元教学重、难点:重点:使学生掌握一些职业的英语表达并就此展开相关讨论。本单元共有27个单词,其中有13个四会单词,13个两会单词和一个三会单词(show)。重点句型是“What does your father / mother / . do? Where does he / she work? How does he / she go to work? ”。难点:让学生在任务活动中熟练运用不同句型进行交流。四、教学步骤1Lets chant(P56) 2Enjoy the song My Family. 3GreetingT: Whens your birthday? what do you do on the weekend ? Whats your hobby? What does your father do? 4Review the wordsCan you guess? student, nurse, TV reporter, policeman,singer,cleaner,accountant,actor,actress,artist,writer. (用简笔画的形式引起学生的兴趣,使学生放松心情,进入学习状态。)“快看快拼”活动。师快速出示一张单词卡片,让学生拼出单词。Read and say. He sells things. He is a .( salesperson)She cleans streets. She is a .(cleaner)He works with numbers and money. He is an .(accountant)If you like drawing and math, you can be .(an engineer)If you enjoy math , you can be an.( accountant)(通过对职业的描述,让学生说出该职业的名称。)5Review the sentencesCan you say ? Whats your name? They are Liu Huan, Yao Ming,Zhao wei,Li yong.Look at the man on the stage. He is a funny man. He is about 40 years old. He works at CCTV. Sometimes he speaks very fast. He has a long face and long hair. Who is he?S: He is Li Yong. T: Yes,he is Li Yong.
