Present the questions and answers on the screen. Sign the important phrases in red and list on the blackboard.Step 3 Besides humans, in the future, robots will look likePresent pictures of animals robots, and say, Robots will have different shapes and functions. What can snake robot and dog robot do? Present the functions of snake and dog robot. Sign the important phrases in red and list on the blackboard.Step 4 New Lesson: Something more about robots. Open the books, turn to P53.Skimming.Match each paragraph with the question it discusses, underline the key sentences. Ask Ss to share the answers, sign the important phrases in red and explain.Scanning. Task 1 Read Para.1 and answer three questions. Share the answers and find the key sentences. Task 2 Read Para.2 and complete the sentences. Share the answers and find the key sentences. Task 3 Read Paras.3-4 and then choose T (true) or F (false). Underline the key sentences. This may lasts a few minutes, Ss can ask me for help if necessary. Share and check the answers. Task 4 Read the passage again and fill in the blanks. Read together, and check the answers.Ask Ss to share the answers, sign the important phrases in red and explain.Step 5 Summary: the mind map. Check what do you know about robots in this classes. Present the shapes and functions of robots, fill in the blanks. Make a conclusion: Robots can do the same things as people do. They are like human servants.Step 6 Writing. Do you want to have a robot? Whats your dream robot? Ask my robot to help you. Email to my Robot : What will your robot look like?What will your robot do?Give an example, and Ss finish writing in class.
