2017年度全省“一师一优课,一课一名师”活动教学设计参赛课题: 八年级英语上册Unit 3 Section A 1a-3c参赛教师:王海蜒参赛单位:大通县桥头镇中心学校参赛日期:2017年5月25日Unit 3 Im more outgoing than my sister. Section A 1 (1a-3c)学情分析:我所教授的八(2)班的学生全部来自于农村,他们在学习英语时有点害怕口语表达,但是当遇到他们感兴趣的话题,他们也会很乐于表达自己的观点,而本节课的话题是“描述人的个性特征并进行比较”相信学生们普遍会很感兴趣,因为本课所用词汇多为以前学习过的形容词和副词,学生们不会感到陌生的。教材分析:八年级上册第三单元是学习形容词,副词比较级的重点单元,要向学生介绍形容词,副词比较级的概念和用法。拓展学生相关的形容词,副词词汇。而第四单元则要在学会第三单元的基础上,学习形容词,副词的最高级,可见第三单元的学习非常重要。I、Teaching goals: A. Knowledge objects1) Learning these words:outgoing, better, loudly, quietly, hard-working, competition, fantastic, clearly, win 2) Recognizing these key sentences: Tina is taller than Tara. Sam has longer hair than Tom. She also sings more loudly than Tara. B、Ability objects Let the students grasp the main grammar focus: 形容词或副词比较级形式的构成。 表示两者进行比较的句式结构。C、Moral objectsEveryone is valuable !通过对人物的外表进行描绘,个性进行比较,使同学们意识到每个人都有自己的闪光点。培养学生热爱生活的美好情操。II、Teaching important points 1) 形容词或副词比较级形式的构成 Comparative with er, -ier.2) 表示两者进行比较的句式结构 comparative + than as+ positive degree +as”III、Teaching difficult points: 1)Listening and writing the comparative forms 2) the using of “ comparative + than “ and “as+ positive degree +as”IV、Teaching Strategies1) Listening and speaking methods. Communicative approach.2) Revision, Learning, Practice and Reading. V、Learning Strategies1)能通过比较级的特征,如:er, -ier. as as等,从对话中听取相关信息。2)能通过归类的方法学习和掌握形容词和副词比较等级的构成。VI、Teaching aids Tape-recorder and multimedia.VII、Teaching procedures. Lead-in Ask Ss to describe the famous persons with adj. as possible. And then Ss can group them into some pairs, like: Section A 1atall - short; thin - heavy, long hair - short hair【设计意图】:通过描述学生熟悉的名人复习形容词和副词,引出本节课的目标词汇。. Presentation 1)Ask Ss to see the five pictures on the screen and see the differences. Then compare the people and things with the new items.2)Summarize the Comparatives. A + be(V) + comparative + than + B. as+ positive degree +as【设计意图】:通过五组不同形式图片学习形容词和副词的比较级,尤其是用简单直观的方法解释了much 和a little修饰比较级的作用。. Brain Storming Put the words on the screen into the right column as quickly as they can .【设计意图】:让学生自主学习,观察并总结,目的是引导学生观察、发现、归纳和掌握语言规律,形成有效的学习策略。. Listening (1) Listen and do 1b Ss listen to the recorder and number the twins.Check the answers together. (2) Listen and do 2a and 2b 1. Point out the two columns and read the headings: -er, -ier and more. Say, now listen and write the er and ier words in the first column and the words that use more in the second column. 2.Play the recorder again and finish 2b.and check the answers.【设计意图】:让学生由简到难完成这三个听力任务,学生很容易完成1b and 2a,但是听懂并完成2b有一定的困难。可以鼓励学生尽可能听出自己会的,然后互相帮助完成。. Role-play the conversation1. Read the conversation first and try to match the people with the right things.1. with shorter hairNellyLisa2.sang better 3. sang so well 4.sang more clearly 5.danced better 6. should learn something new and have fun 2. Let Ss practice the conversation in pairs.Homework: Let Ss make their own conversations. Then let some pairs act it out in front of the class .【设计意图】:让学生快速找出对话中的人物关系,有利于学生之后的练习和仿写。同时通过学习这篇对话,培养学生要不断学习新的知识,乐观向上的态度。. Pair work1. Point out the chart in activity 2c. and make sentences. 2. Ss can talk about their classmates with these sentences .【设计意图】:让学生注意观察,活学活用。谈论同学更能激发兴趣,增进友谊。. ExercisingFinishing 3a in class and learn the key structures “tive + than + B. as+ positive degree +as”【设计意图】:通过实战练习,帮助学生进一步掌握“asas”句型的用法。Homework: Write six sentences: Write about the things that are the same and different between you and your best friend.板书设计:Section A (1a-2d) outgoi
