Thanksgiving in the United States阅读课教学设计这节课是八年级上册第八单元的阅读课,这一单元主要学习制作一些食品,语法要点是祈使句,标题是:How do you make a banana milk shake? 这篇阅读Thanksgiving in the United States我设计了三个重点,一是了解Thanksgiving的文化习俗,这里我只引导学生对中国传统节日和传统食品,与西方传统节日和食品对比配对,在感恩节的话题上,我引导学生了解了美国人感恩节的感恩对象,感恩理由。二是学生通过阅读,将图片编号,祈使句使用是重点任务,在简略做法前加First, Next, Then, Finally是针对性的又一任务。三是如何根据所学的步骤,自己制作一个烤鸡食谱。教学步骤设计:I. Leading in: Discuss what people eat on special holidays,in China, in the western world.Then match the holidays with the special food. Dumplings Mid-Autumn Festivalzongzi Spring Festival mooncake Dragon Boat Festival turkey Thanksgiving设计意图:根据中国传统食物和传统节日引出西方的感恩节和感恩节食物火鸡。II.Introduction of Thanksgiving.The first travelers came to live in America about 400 years ago.These travelers had a long,hard winter.They gave thanks for life and food. 设计意图:根据图片介绍感恩节的由来和历史,让学生对感恩节有一定的了解。III.Skim the first part and finish the mind map.About the Thanksgiving,answer when ,where and why do people celebrate it?设计意图:让学生学会快速寻找段落中的5W。IV:Read the first part again and finish the two questions.1. How do people celebrate it these days?2. What is the main dish of the Thanksgiving meal?设计意图:仔细阅读其中的细节部分,让学生学会找段落中的1H。根据句子来猜文中的生词。然后引出怎么样制作火鸡餐。V. How to make a turkey dinner?(阅读火鸡餐的制作步骤,然后将图片标上序号)First,mix together some bread pieces,onions,salt and pepper.Next,fill the turkey with this bread mix.Then,put the turkey in a hot oven and cook it for a few hours。Place the turkey on a large plate, cover it with gravyFinally,cut the turkey into thin pieces and eat the meat with vegetables like carrots and potatoes.Then,how to make a turkey dinner? Read the second part and then match the pictures with the orders.设计意图:根据句子猜测短语的意思,把图片和序号配上对。学会使用步骤连词。VI.Read again ,then retell according to the pictures.(再次阅读第二部分,并根据导学案,复复述文章第二部分)First, _ together some bread pieces, onions, salt and pepper.
