北京梦飞翔教育（九江分部）课堂知识点学生：杨忠鑫教师：黄露莹上课日期：2012-4-7六形容词（I）形容词的用法与位置一、形容词的用法 1、作定语，位于名词前。只可作定语的形容词有：golden，wooden，outer，inner，daily，elder，little，live等 2、作表语，放在连系动词之后。只可作表语的形容词有：well，unable，worth，sorry，sure，glad及以字母a-为词首的词asleep，afraid，alone，awake等 3、作宾语补足语，放在宾语后面 The news made them happy. 4、两个形容词用and连起来放在句末可以作状语或补语 They returned from the war safe and sound. 5、“the+形容词”可表示一类人或一类事物二、形容词在句中的位置 1、在名词短语中作定语，通常置于它所修饰的名词之前 2、修饰复合不定代词时须后置 3、表语形容词修饰名词须后置 He is the only man awake at that time. 4、和表示长、宽、高、厚等的形容词与数词连用作定语须后置 The bridge is 150 meters long. 5、用and或or连接的两个形容词作定语时须后置 a huge room simple and beautiful一间简朴而美观的大房间 6、形容词短语作定语一般后置 a man difficult to get on with三、多个形容词的排列顺序 限定描绘大长高，形状年龄和新老；颜色国籍跟材料，作用类别往后靠。 美小圆旧黄，法国木书房。 限定词一般描绘性的表示大小形状的表示性质的表示色彩的表示长幼、新旧的表示国籍、地区、出处的表示物质、材料的表示用途、类别的被修饰的名词 “限定词”包括：冠词、物主代词、指示代词或数词，位于各类形容词前 “描绘”性形容词如：beautiful，bad，cold，great等 “大长高”表示大小、长短、高低等一些词 表示“形状”的如：round，square等 “国籍”指一个国家或地区的词 “材料”的词如：wooden，woolen，stone，silk等 “作用类别”的词如：medical，college等北京梦飞翔教育（九江分部）课后作业学生：杨忠鑫教师：黄露莹上课日期：2012-4-7六1.
