In this unit, students will learn more knowledge about clothes and how to buy things. In this unit, students will learn new words about things we usually use and we should wear clothes according to the weather.Teaching aims and demands1. To teach the students the new words about things we used in different weather.2. To teach the students the new words and sentences to be used in shopping.3. To teach the students we should wear clothes according to the weather and prepare things before we travel.Teaching Important and Difficult Points1. To make the students master the new words: sunglasses, umbrella, scarf, gloves.2. To make the students know how to communicate with the assistant.3. It may be difficult to make the students make dialogue with the new words and the new sentences.Teaching PreparationsPPT, a computer, a tape recorder and stickers.Teaching ProceduresStep 1 Warm up1. Lets chantT: Whats the weather like today?Ss: Its hot/warm/sunnyT: Can I wear my sweater today? Can I wear my coat today?Ss: No.T: No. We must wear clothes according to the weather. Now lets chant. Before that, I want to divide you into 2 groups. Boys are in group 1, and girls are in group 2. OK? I will give a star to each group if you do it well. Now lets chant.2. Listening PracticeT: You all did very well. We all know that we should wear the right clothes according to the weather. Did you listen to the weather report last night? Here is a weather report. Listen carefully, and tell me the weather in different cities.The students listen to the recording and answer: whats the weather like in Step 2 Presentation1.
