一、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标: 1) Can finish the tasks in 2a.2) 能掌握以下单词: serious, mirror, kid, as long as, necessary, be different from, both, though, bring out, grade, should, the same as, saying, reach, hand, touch, heart, in fact 3) 能掌握以下句型: A good friend is like a mirror.Thats why I like reading books and I study harder in class.Im shy so its not easy for me to make friends. You dont need a lot of them as long as they are good. Larry is quite different from me. Its not necessary to be the same.Larry often helps to bring out the best in me.A true friend reaches for you hand and touches your heart. 4) 阅读短文获得正确的信息的能力。 5)阅读短文并能完成相关任务。 2. 情感态度价值观目标: 了解人与人之间的差异性,了解自己对朋友的看法,明确自己需要什么样的 朋友。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) 掌握本课时出现的生词及表达方式。2) 掌握形容词和副词比较级的应用。3) 能阅读和理解短文并完成相应的练习。2. 教学难点1) 阅读短文,获得相关信息,提高学生们的综合阅读能力。2)掌握以下句型:Thats why/Its not +形容词+(for sb)+to do sth. Its not necessary to do sth.三、教学过程. Warming- up and revision1. Daily greeting. 2 .Students talk about their friends . T: Do you have a good friend? What is he/she like? Tell your classmates. Presentation 一、2a 1. Write the comparative forms of the adjectives in 2a. 2. Students use the comparative forms to write five sentences about their friends. 3. Check some students to read their sentences. 二、2b1. Ask students : what kind of things are important in a friend? Should friends be the same or different?2. Get some students to talk about their ideas.3. Quickly reading1) T: Lets meet three new friends, Jeff Green, Huang Lei and Mary Smith. Read about what they think of their friends? Underline the comparative words and phrases in the passages. 2) Check a student to read the comparative words and phrases in the passages.3) Get students to understand the new words in the passages.4) Let some Ss read the passage quickly and find out the differences and the similarities. Then let a student read aloud these sentences. 5) Students complete a chart. Then check the answers with the Ss. 6) Read the passages and solve the difficulties . 三、Careful reading (2c)1. Let Ss read the sentences in 2c. Make sure they know the meaning of these sentences. 2. Let Ss read the passages again and judge these sentences are True or False.3. Check the answers. .Writing (2d) 1. T: Now lets think of you and your friends. How do you and your friends compare with the people in the article?
