How are you going to do that? Im going to practice basketball every day. Where are you going to work? When are you going to start? 2) 能了解以下语法: 掌握一般将来时态的构成形式; 3) 用一般将来时态表达将要做的事情。 2. 情感态度价值观目标: 每个人都有自己的梦想和对未来的打算,对于将来想要从事的职业也充满了憧憬。 人们以常谈论他们的设想,因此,应通过学习这单元的内容来激发学生们的学习主动性和学习兴趣,使他们更加有理想,并为实现自己的理想而不断努力。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) 学习一般将来时态的构成方式。2) 学习本课时出现的重点句型,通过在不同情景下运用来熟练运用一般将来时态。2. 教学难点:用一般将来时态表达自己未来的打算。三、教学过程. Lead-in 1. Greet students.2. Talk about “My dream jobs”. Tell students what I wanted to be when I was young. Using “I want to be a/an” to talk about it. Ask students “What do you want to be when you grow up?”. Ask some students to talk about it.T: Everyone has dreams. When I was as young as you, I had some dreams. For examples, I want to be a singer, I want to be a doctor, and I want to be a teacher. At last, I became a teacher. So, today, I want to know “What do you want to be when you grow up?”. Game 1. Show some pictures in the big screen. 2. Let students guess what he/she does. 3. Let students try their best to guess the job. Learn new words: cook, engineer, computer programmer, pilot.PresentationShow some pictures in the screen, ask “What are they?”. Learn new words: violinist, pianist, scientist, bus driver.1a PresentationFirst, read the instruction to students. Ask students to rank these words (112) by themselves.Then, ask students to answer questions:1. Which one is the most/least interesting?2. What do you want to be when you grow up?At last, ask students to ask and answer questions one by one in a group. Ask them to use “What do you want to be when you grow up?” and “I want to be a/an”. 1b Listen1. Show the picture for students. Ask students to read the dialogue together. Explain they are talking about their dreams by using “want to be” and their plans by using “be going to”.T: There are four students. They are talking about what they want to be and how they are going to do. First, listen and fill in the blanks, then match the items.2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and fill in the blanks. 3. Play the recording again. Ss listen and match the jobs with activities. Check answers like this:T: In conversation 1, what does Tina want to be?Ss: She wants to be a computer programmer.T: How is she going to do that?Ss: She is going to study computer science.T:4. Show the answers on the big screen. . 1c Pair work 1. Divide students into two groups. Let Ss read the model. 2. Practice more conversations.3. Ask students to work in four people. Ask and answer their dreams and plans.T: In this dialogue, you should use “What do you want to be?” and “How are you going to do that?”4. Ask some groups to practice their dialogues. Then ask another student to answer the questions “What does he/she want to be?” and “How is he/she going to do?”. ListeningFor 2a: 1. Let students look at the pictures below. Explain the activities in the pictures if necessary. 2. Play the recording for the students to listen and check () the correct boxes in the picture. 3. Play the recording again to check the answers.For 2b: 1. Let students read the chart below. Tell students that theyll listen to Cheng Hans plan for the future. Ask students to guess what these words mean. Then give whole questions. “What” means “What is Cheng Han going to do?”“Where” means “where is Cheng Han going to work?”“How” means “How is he going to do it?”“When” means “when is he going to start?”2. Play the recording for the students to write the correct answers in the chart. 3. Check answers.
