It means we/you must/should/shouldnt 2. 语言技能(1)初步运用新语言知识表达身边常见的公共标志的名称和意义。(2)引导学生围绕“公共标志”这个话题展开各项活动,在活动中提高英语表达能力。3. 情感态度 引导学生通过学习活动熟悉身边的公共标志,遵守社会公德。【教学重点】能正确地理解、掌握对话内容,并能朗读、初步表演对话。【教学难点】能比较流畅的朗读对话,并在掌握对话的基础上,运用本课所学语言与朋友交流公共场合标志的意义。【课前准备】1.教具准备:一些标志图片、录音机、磁带、小黑板和挂图。2.板书准备:预先写好课题Unit 1 Public signs【先学提纲】1.查一查,拼一拼:(试着使用词典或上网等方式查查下列单词的音标及含义,并试着拼读)cousin _ ( )public _ ( )sign _ ( )mean _ ( )danger _ ( )quiet _ ( )2.听一听,想一想:(请听听课文磁带,大概了解一下课文内容,并试着回答以下问题) Where are Ben and his cousin? _ What are they talking about? _ How many signs can they see? _3.读一读,猜一猜:(默读课文,猜测下列内容在语境中的含义) ask some questions _ different things_ on the birds cage _ know a lot about_自我评价他人评价 考考你:通过查阅工具书,我们知道must表示( ),should表示( )。那你知道他们有什么区别吗?_(在教前学,布置前置性学习内容)【教学过程】Step 1Preparation1. Who can answer the questions?(小黑板呈现先学提纲第2题)(请个别学生回答,同学互相矫正、评价,教师适时引导)Step 2. Presentation1. T shows some signs. (教师介绍一些本课中出现的标志,并且适当地拓展了一些课外的标志,例如No fishing! No parking! No photos!.并且将这些标志图片贴到黑板上)2. Read quietly. T: You should read the text quietly and try to ask some questions according to the text. 学生默读左半篇课文 (默读完毕后老师邀请学生提问,学生提出一些问题:What day is it today? Where are Ben and Jack? Where is the sign? What does it mean?等,然后由学生从文中找出相关答案进行回答) 同法处理右半篇课文 (注意要让学生的提问、回答、师生评价三者交融,教师要鼓励学生提出更多的问题)教师在学生提问的过程中,就本课中的关键内容进行随机板书:What does this sign mean? It means What should we do? We must/shouldnt教师适当领读;must和should的用法,可让先学的同学进行讲解,教师给予补充。3. Read loudly. Ss read the whole passage loudly with the questions on the blackboard and try to underline the answers in the book. (可以适时出示Learning tips: 用铅笔在课文中划出有用的信息) 教师将课文分成三段,依次处理课文。先让学生回答黑板上板书的两个关键问题,学生在文中找出相关答案。问答完毕后,学生跟读录音。T: What does the sign mean? S1: It means Danger!(划出Danger!)T: What should we do? S2: We must stay away from the building. T: Good. Follow me. Ss: (Read.)T: Now read after the tape. (教师提出朗读要求:Please pay attention to the intonation and pronunciation.)Ss: (Read after the tape.)(同法处理第二、三段) 梳理完毕后,教师要求学生利用黑板上的板书提示以及课文内容进行问答练习。 T: Now try to ask and answer, using the sentences on the blackboard. Ss practise in roles or in pairs. Step 3. PracticeTalk fluently. 要求学生根据课文三个场所的图案,学生选择一幅他们感兴趣的图,然后流畅地进行描述。 There are lots of signs in the park. They mean different things. Presentation and practice:1. Ben and Jack visited the sign world and the park yesterday. Now, lets go over with them.2. Learn Part B. 1) Find public signs.T: Look, therere many signs here. Can you find public signs? T: Well done. They are public signs. The others are trademarks. 2) Read the public signs.T: Lets read them together, OK?T: Great!
