Students can understanding of the past tense and can ask and answer: What did you do last weekend ? - I visited my grandparents .Teaching points:The new phrases and the sentence pattern. Teaching aids: PPT, some pictures and a recorderTeaching procedure1. Greeting: What day is it today ? - Its Tuesday .What day was yesterday ? Monday . （设计意图：日常对话练习，能让学生感到英语和生活离的很近，给学生创设了一个学习英语的良好氛围。）2. Review : Ask :What do you usually do on the weekend ? I watch TV, read books , do my homework （设计意图：充分调动学生的思维，让学生对以前学过的知识加以回顾，既是复习，又是对本课的一个很好的铺垫，同时引入新课。）Show the PPT.在学生回答的基础上，用课件显示这些图片及动词短语。图像快速闪动，让学生形成瞬间记忆。3.Lead in : I usually play sports on the weekend . But last weekend ,I watched TV. (教师引导学生问自己：What do you usually do on the weekend ?引出过去时态，这里教师有意把last和watched说的慢一点，给学生一个初步地印象。)4.Read : T: Therere two minutes for you . Read the phrases and the sentences freely, find out the difficulty you think .They can be a word or a phrase .You can underline them when you read .(设计意图： 让孩子在规定的时间内完成阅读，通过自学发现问题。带着具体的任务去学习，学生可以做到有的放矢。对不认识的地方划线是对孩子自学方法的指导。)5. Discuss：How to read the words or phrases ? What are the meaning of them ?Process: If you dont know the words or the phrases , you can ask your deskmate. If your deskmate dont know either. You can discuss in your group . （给学生充足的时间，让学生在小组内讨论，把能解决的问题在小组内解决。学生能认识这些词的原型，只是对过去式的读音不能把握。让学生试着去读，读对的就加以表扬，能培养学生的自信心，调动学生的积极性。）6. Report : Some students say the difficulties ,the teacher write them on the blackboard.(把在小组内不能解决的问题放到全班去解决。)7. Listen: T: Boys and girls ,you work hard . Now, please listen to the tape , I think it can help you .Pay attention to the words that you dont know .You can repeat quietly after the tape . (听录音正音，帮助孩子解决发音的问题。注意学法指导。)8. Check : One or two students read the phrases loudly. The teacher correct the pronunciation.（有了录音的帮助，学生的自信心会大大增强。老师重点提示学生过去式加ed的发音。）9. Teach :The teacher teach the new words from the pronunciation ,the meaning (在此,要给学生更多的空间和时间，让他们能够自己去解决一些问题，能发现规则动词的过去式的书写规律及发音规律。 )10. Write : Write them on your card .(好记性不如烂笔头，课前让学生准备好几张小卡片，让学生把单词写在不同的卡片上，能增强学生对单词的记忆。又为接下来的小组合作练习做好准备.)11. Practice :(1)The teacher shows the pictures quickly ,the other students say the phrases quickly.(2) Point to some group .Read them one by one .Pronunciation.(2)Give the students five minutes . Remember these phrases in groups . You can use different forms of exercises. For example : (1)One holds up the cards you wrote and others read and spell the phrase one by one . (2)One does the actions and others guess and spell the phrases . (3) I say in Chinese and you say in English . (4) Find the ways to remember them . watch - watched (学生在小组内自由练习，可以用不同的形式，如用卡片，用动作，我说汉语你说英语等，让相互教，以兵教兵的形式合作学习，也可以兼顾差生，解决老师照顾不到的问题。)12. Report : To show with your practice methods .（各小组自己练习时的形式汇报学习效果，优胜小组给予表扬。既给了学生充分展示的机会，又对小组内的学习效果有一个反馈和检测。同时引入竞争机制，激发他们的表现欲，对好的表扬，给学生成就感。）13. Point to a student and ask : What did you do last weekend ? Show the PPT. Lead the student answer the questions with the pictures: I _（课件有图片，有句子，既形象，又能降低学生初学时的难度，让学生从模仿开始学习。）14. Practice in groups .Ask and answer : What did you do last weekend ? -I _.For example :- Hi! -Hello! - What did you do last weekend ? - I watched TV.(学生在小组内进行对话练习，自编对话询问上周末的活动。这里把英语学习和实际生活相联系，让英语学习走向学生的生活。)15. Report : Report one team by one team. Other Ss listen to them carefully. The students can hold up their cards or do actions .The teacher asks : What did _ do last weekend ? Ss answer . Then ask students ask and answer to what you hear .（各小组用不同的形式汇报学习效果。既给了学生充分展示的机会，又对小组内的学习效果有一个反馈和检测。在某一个小组汇报时，其他同学可以配合相应的动作或举起自己手中相应的卡片,并能来进行问答。这里教会学生学会要倾听，并且能准确反应听到的内容。问答时学生会理解过去式人称的变化与一般现在时不同。这个过程对表达者和倾听者都有所要求。）16. Lets find out . Show the PPT: Ask : What did Zoom do last weekend ? （用课件展示书中的内容，让学生能更加集中注意力来学习）17. In groups : Make up dialogues with the picture and finish the sentences . What did Zoom do last weekend ?-Zoom watched TV . （这里有了人称的变化，提醒学生注意。出示检测题让学生对本课的内容再一次回顾和检测。）18. Report . Let the students to the front to show their examination, and read out the sentence, ask and answer. (这个过程既检验了他们掌握的情况，又能帮学生树立自信心，让他们有更强烈的表现欲和成就感。)19.
