But the most important reason is that I can practice my English when I am chatting online with friends. W: Are you serious?M: Youd better believe it. Will you come to my house tonight? Ill show you how.W: Thanks, anyway. Sleeping is more important for me. I must get up early tomorrow.M: Poor you.W: I suggest you spend less time making friends online. Listen carefully and then fill in the numbered blanks with the information youve got. Fill in each blank with NO MORE THAN 3 WORDS.You will hear the short passage TWICE.You now have 20 seconds to read the questions on the QUESTION BOOKLET. .Hello, everyone! Many students often ask me the same question: how can I become popular with others. I think the first step is to improve your appearance. You should always make sure that you stay in good shape and dress well. In addition, you should smile and appear friendly. After all, our facial expression is an important part of our appearance. If you can do this, people will be attracted by your good looks and will be impressed by your confidence. The second step is being more considerate towards others .You should make an attempt to be really interested in other people and what theyre saying. Listening is one of the most important skills you should learn. Another important skill is encouraging others to talk about the things which theyre interested in. In this way people will feel comfortable enough to trust you. Only by being sincere and respectful of others can you earn their respect. The third step is using positive body language. Positive body language involves the act of making eye contact while speaking, using hand gestures to show important points and smiling to the person youre having a conversation with. If you can do all of the above, I am sure popularity will come your way. 2013年长沙市高考模拟试卷英语参考答案及评分标准1-5 ACBCA6-10 CABCA11-15 CCCBA16. in good shape17. saying18. talk about 19. important points20. smiling21-25 CDCDC26-30 DACBB31-35.
