T guides Ss to answer: I have had/kept/owned it since/for .Step 3 Work on 1a. T first sets and example for Ss and then guides Ss to work in pairs to have a role play:A: Hi, Jimmy. How long have you this/that?B: Ive it since/for .A: Why are you selling it?B: Because .A:How much is it?B: You can have it for .Step 4 Work on 1b. T guides Ss to listen to the record and finish exercise 1b.4.Reading: Ss read after the record. While reading, Ss pay attention to the intonation.
