Before listening, lead Ss to learn the new wordsonce upon a time, shoot, stone2. Read and recite these new words.3. Do exercise 1aStep 3 ListeningExercise 1b1. Tell Ss they will hear a great Chinese traditional story.2. Play the record3. Ask Ss who know the name of the story.4. Play the record again. Let Ss check the facts they hear.5. Check the answers.Exercise 2a1. Look at the pictures in 2a. Discuss the things they are going to do. When you listen to the story, please number the pictures.2.
