Unit 9 My favorite subject is science -Section A1a-1c学情分析:本单元是人教版新目标英语七年级上册第九单元,也是最后一个单元。主要围绕“School subjects”这个话题展开讨论,并懂得询问和回答最喜欢的学科和喜欢的原因,以及星期的表达。学生学过了八个单元的新目标英语,对整个课程的教学模式有了一定的了解,具备一定的听、说、读、写的基础。对于特殊疑问句的句型的表达已经有所接触,为本单元的学科的表达打下了基础。通过本单元的进一步学习,使学生能够更加熟练地运用目标语言进行交际活动。教材分析:Unit 9 以“School subject”为话题,选材于学生的日常生活,十分符合学生实际。七年级的学生开始学习各种科目:语文、数学、英语、生物、历史、地理、美术、音乐等。学习生活有了紧凑的安排,每天的课程都排得满满的。他们也一定会有自己喜欢的科目,有自己的学习计划。通过讨论学习,能够提高他们的学习兴趣,进行合理的学习安排。Section A 主要通过听、说和讨论的活动让学生了解怎样用英语询问和回答最喜欢的学科和喜欢的原因,以及这些学科的课任老师。学会新词汇和用特殊疑问句Whats your favorite subject等句型来进行口语交际。.教学目标 1知识目标: (1)单词:favorite,subject,science,music,math,Chinese,geography,history (2)句型:Whats your favorite subject?My favorite subject is art. 2能力目标:通过本课学习,掌握一些词汇、句型等语言知识,能够运用所学词汇、句型和他人交流,提高英语口语表达能力。 3情感目标:通过互相谈论喜欢的学科,增进同学之间的了解和友情。 4文化意识:了解英语国家学生的学习生活,增强跨文化交际的意识。 .教学重点 1单词:favorite,subject,science,geography,history 2句型:Whats your favorite subject?My favorite subject is science. .教学难点 熟练运用所学的词汇、句型表达和交流信息。 .教学步骤 Step 1. Revision1. Greeting the Ss.2. Lets review the fruit, the months we have learned.T: What fruit do you like (best)? =Whats your favorite fruit?S1:I like apples(best). S2: oranges My favorite fruit is orange.Step 2. Presentation Leadin 1教师播放各学科课本的画面,问学生分别是什么学科,引出各学科的名称,最后做一个总结。 For example: T:Class!Please look at the picture.What subject is it? S1:Its Chinese. S2:Its math. S3:Its geography. S4:Its science. Then the teacher has a summary:Chinese,math,geography,science. 2.Learn the new words. (出现后领读再齐读)3. A game: Loud and Low voice(巩固读音)4.review of the subjects (通过闪烁图片来巩固单词拼写,然后齐读)教师问学生现在学的科目有哪些,找一两个学生来回答。然后教师和学生做看图猜谜游戏。让学生看图,猜猜是什么学科,最后让学生将各学科全部总结一下。 For example: T:Class!What subjects are you learning now?Can you say out? In the end,let the students have a summary. 4.pairwork (带读再两人一组对话)T:My favorite subject is English because.S1: Whats your favorite subject?S1: My favorite subject is Step 3:Practice 1. 1a .Match the words with the pictures. 教师引导学生将 1a中的各学科名称与图画进行配对。 For example: T:Class!Look at 1a and the pictures.Can you match the words with the right picture? Call one or two individuals to check the answers. 2. Check the answers.3. 教师找几名学生朗读1a 中的单词。对于读错的单词,教师纠正其发音错误,并领读两遍。然后让全班同学齐读两遍。 For example: T: Call some individuals to read. S1:P.E.,art,science,music,math,Chinese,geography,history. S2:P.E.,art,science,music,math,Chinese,geography,history. Then the teacher corrects their pronunciation mistakes,and then has a leading reading. In the end,let all the students read the words collectively. 4. 1b Listen and circle the subjects you hear in 1a.教师告诉学生将进行一次听力测验,以检验学生是否完全掌握1a中的单词。 T: What are they talking about?Whats Annas favorite subject?Whats Lindas favorite subject?Step 5:Presentation 1c. Practice the conversation with your partner. Then make your own conversations.Whats your favorite subject?
