Unit7.How much are these socks?Period一、Teaching Contents : 1a1c in Section A二、Teaching material analysis:Section A部分主要围绕“购物”这一主题展开,同时复习了前面学过的1-9,以及指示代词the, this, that, these 和those。本部分的核心句型是How much引导的询问价格的特殊疑问句。在本节课中通过谈论衣物,让学生在学会谈论物品的同时,掌握用how much句型来询问价格,同时让学生能够利用简单的英语进行购物,为下节课谈论对服装的喜好做铺垫。三、Teaching Aims and Demands1、Knowledge and Ability(1) Master the new words and key expressions: skirt, t-shirt, sweater, trousers, shorts, shoes, shoes, how much.(2) Master the target language: How much is this sweater? ItsHow much are these socks? Theyre2、Process and Method利用多媒体课件来展开课堂问答式、通过由易到难、循序渐进的方法学习本课的新单词及其新句型,并且谈论服装、学习询问服装的价格;同时进行购物训练和听力训练。3、Emotional attitude and Value(1) 树立正确的消费观念,养成节约用钱的生活习惯(2) 知道人民币与美元的差别,了解中西方的文化差异。四、Teaching key points:1.Master the new words and key expressions.2.Master the target language.3.The collocation of demonstrative pronoun and the noun(指示代词和名词的搭配)五、Teaching difficult points:Master the words which end with “s”,and the structure: How much are these socks? Lets go into the colorful clothes world. Show some ppt to teach the new words. Use the structures: Whats this? Its a/an. Whatre these? Theyre . While teaching the new words, have the Ss repeat the words ,and then have the Ss read them freely and together. After that, have some Ss read them out to the class.Step3 Memory challenge(5 min) Do you remember all the clothes words? Who is willing to our memory challenge? Lets see who memorizes the most? After that, have the Ss open the books, turn to page37,look at Activity1a,finish matching the words with the pictures. And then ,check the answers like this: socksiStep4 Listening(12 min) Show a picture and ask: Whats this? Its a sweater. Do you like it? Do you want to buy it? 在我们买之前,我们首先干什么?引导学生说询问价格。 从而引出How much is this sweater? 我们通常用什么来买东西,引导学生讲出人民币。Show some pictures of RMB. Have the Ss learn to express the face value of the yuan.eg:1元 one yuan 2元 two yuan. And then have the Ss answer: How much is this sweater? Its yuan.After that, show another picture of socks and ask: Whatre these? Theyre socks. Have the Ss say how to ask about the price and the answer. How much are these socks? Theyre yuan.After that lead in the dollar. Have the Ss learn to express the face value of the dollar. eg:1美元 one dollar 2美 two dollars And then show some pictures, practice the structures: How much is? Its dollar(s).How much are ? Theyre dollar(s).After that, Lets listen to the American how to go shopping. Now look at Activity 1b.Play the tape and check the answers. And then have the Ss listen and repeat it. After that have the Ss read it freely and together. And invite some pairs to read it out to the class.Step5 practice(5 min)Have a pair read the sample conversation in 1c.And then have the Ss work in pairs like that. After a while, invite some pairs act out their conversations.Step6 Summary(3 min)1. How much is? Its dollar(s).How much are ? Theyre dollar(s).2.思想教育Step7 Homework(2 min)1.
