They are highly encouraged to figure out the meaning of new word and phrases.5、文化意识:Students are supposed to use simple present to describe the exact location of certain construction by using the new words and phrases.教学重点 Describe the location with the target language.教学难点1) Describe the specific location by further describing the locations around the target construction with the help of simple present tense and new phrases and words.2) Using target language to describe the locations which ate hard to express.项目及要求【项目】Write a short passage or make a dialogue to describe a map of your dreaming place by using what you have learned in section A. 【要求】 Collection relevant data and make a five minutes presentation before class; Preview the text; Members of each group collect the information of their ideal city or town and they are supposed to draw a map of their w land。 By doing the listening comprehension and following the relevant information to further understand the text. Complete the description of the map by group discussion , each group is encouraged to share their representative work with other students.项目设置意图By asking the students to design their dreaming cities or towns to make them realize they are the future designer of themselves and the country, so being responsible to themselves from now is considered important。教学过程(项目实施交流展示评价激励)教师活动学生活动【项目准备】一、out of the students are boarding school students so pre-class homework is made without the help of internet, requirements are rather specific:1. Collect the information of describing a map of an ideal place using the target language in section A.【自主完成】利用晚自习时间完成2. Read Unit 8 Section A 2d after the tape for five times to correct the intonation。二、Teacher collect students photos to prepare for the game。【指导调控】1、 PresentationTeacher is supposed to give assessment and standard of evaluation according to the students presentation. Standard of evaluation:one point for each requirement our of five.1Recite the speech, have eye-contact with your classmates.2Finish the presentation within 3 minutes.3Loud voice4Have rich content and clear structure5Be creative2、 Teacher check the homework by playing a guessing game 1.Requirements:1) One student is asked to read the description of a place.2) The student behind him/ her guess the place.2.Group competitionAwarding points are given to the students who answer the questions right and students are required to repeat the new word and phrases one by one。三、项目完成1.出示【项目】 Write a short passage or make a dialogue to describe a map of your dreaming place by using what you have learned in section A.2.
