Unit 4 I Have A Pen Pal的教学设计设计理念本单元是一个会话单元,围绕“I Have A Pen Pal”介绍笔友的基本情况。学习如何用英语进行人物介绍和描述人物的兴趣爱好等。教师应尽量为学生创设模拟的“真实情景”,为学生营造轻松的学习氛围,体现语言教学的真实性。在本单元词汇教学中,设计寓教于乐的各种游戏、竞赛活动,采用了直观教学法、情景教学法、TPR全身动作反应法等教学方法,进行重难点句型的练习,做到词不离句,句不离语境,让学生初步感知语言。同时关注评价过程,激发学生的学习兴趣。 尊重个体差异,倡导体验参与,采用了交际法、情境教学法和任务型语言教学法,让学生在完成任务的过程中学习,在学习的过程中成长,培养学生良好的阅读习惯。给学生提供展示的平台,充分发挥他们的想象力,鼓励他们自主创新,体现英语教学的灵活性和开放性。以教材为主线,联系生活适当拓展,让学生接触更多的语言信息。 教学目标(1)基本目标 能够询问、回答和简单描述他人的业余爱好,如“Whats your hobby? I like collecting stamps. He likes collecting stamps too.” 能够运用一般现在时的一般疑问句询问他人的住所、工作、生活等基本情况并做回答,如,“Does your pen pal live in the city? No, he doesnt. He lives inBeijing. Does she teach you math? Yes, she does.” 能够听懂、会唱歌曲“My Pen Pal”(2)技能目标 能够掌握A、B中Lets learn ,Lets talk 的四会单词和句子。 能够听,说,认读A、B部分中Lets talk ,Let s read中的白体句子。 能够认读Pronunciation部分的音标/:/ / / / / / / / l / / r /并能读出例词。 能够理解Lets chant部分的内容。 能够了解Story time,Good to know,Task time等部分的内容。(3)情感目标 鼓励学生发展广泛的兴趣爱好,培养学生乐于与人交往的性格。 了解英语书信的相关信息。积极运用所学语言进行交流,加强合作学习。 教学内容分析本课时教学内容为Section A部分Part A Lets learn;Lets talk;Group work;Lets play 等。以谈论爱好的话题贯穿始终,先让学生充分感知,在感知的基础上采取形式多样的方式进行操练,如采访,游戏,对话等。教学目标是学生能够听,说,读,写有关爱好的动词短语以及他们的动名词短语形式:ride a bikeriding a bike, divediving,play the violinplaying the violin,collect stampscollecting stamps,make kitesmaking kites;能够听,说,读,写句子:Whats your hobby?I like collecting stamps. He likes collecting stamps,too;并能在具体的语境中熟练用英语表达自己的爱好。教学难点是ride, dive, make在加ing的时候要去掉末尾的e;是动词第三人称单数的用法。是能熟练用英语表达自己的爱好。 教学准备:Part A Lets learn;Lets talk的教学磁带、CAI课件、与课文相关图片、邮票。 教学流程与设计意图(课前将学生分成四组,以小组竞争的形式开展课堂教学。这种设计符合小学生活泼好动的性格,好竞争的特点,利用他们的这种特点为我们的教学服务。)Step 1 Warm-up 1.(CAI课件)Flash some pictures quickly, students read them together. 2. (1) Teacher does some actions and students guess the phrases.(2)S1 chooses a card and does the action of the card. S2: Are you swimming? S1: Yes, I am. / No, Im not. singing playing the chesswimming playing football listening to music playing the piano设计意图 此环节用来复习动词短语,先闪现短语卡片让学生猜测图意并集体朗读,再进行猜动作的游戏,迅速吸引孩子的注意力并调动学生的学习兴趣。猜对的小组能得到小红花,采用评价激励可以使课堂气氛一下子活跃起来。Step 2 Presentation1. (1) Ask students to guess the teachers hobbies.(利用学生的好奇心对教师的爱好进行猜想从而导入本节课新知识点,既能吸引学生的兴趣,也对新知识的呈现起到了“穿针引线”的作用。)( Show many pictures on the screen. )T:Do you like swimming/ ? S1/S2/: Yes, I do. /No, I dont.T: Can you guess what I like?S1: Singing.S2: Reading books.S3: Listening to music.(分别拿出麦克风.书和随身听进行动作演示)T:Yes, you are right. Look, I like singing, I like reading books and I like listening to music. Singing is my hobby. Reading books is my hobby. Listening to music is my hobby, too. They are all my hobbies. /h/ h, /D/ o, /b/ blackboard, /i/ y, hobby(边读边写在黑板上)Do you know hobby?Ss: Yes.爱好。(2) Ask students“Whats your hobby?”Help them answer it with the sentence“I like”Then teacher writes the sentences on the Blackboard.T: Whats your hobby? Can you tell me? You can answer with “I like”And you can do an action.S1: I like playing the computer games.(双手作敲打键盘的样子)S2: (3) Teach “Whats your hobby?” and write it on the blackboard. Then students work in groups to practice the sentences. “Whats your hobby? I like” Then report it in the class.S1: Whats your hobby?S2: I like playing chess.T: Whats her hobby?S1: She like playing chess.T: She likes playing chess. Clear? (板书并带读句型)T: Whats your hobby?S1: I like singing. (学生小声对老师说)T: Whats his hobby?S2:He likes cooking.T: Sorry.S3: He likes singing.T: Yes. (猜对组得到加分)设计意图 让学生初步感知新句型,在具体操作过程中,教师可随机应变,采用多种操练形式使学生对新知识能够上口。2. Present new phrases in “lets learn”(1) Show a picture. T: Many people have their hobbies. Lets guess from the picture: Whats her hobby?Let students guess with the sentence “She likes” (猜的过程让更多的学生操练句型和新词组。)Then teacher gives them the clear picture.T: Look, she likes riding a bike.(课件呈现图片和词组,去e加ing的过程分步呈现) ride-riding a bikeStudents read many times after teacher until they can read it.(多种形式教读。如高低声朗读,藏卡片,根据学生读词声音的高低来判断卡片离自己的距离等。)T: Riding, riding, she likes riding a bike.(学生跟读,边说边做动作)(2)T: Do you know Guo Jingjing?Ss:跳水运动员。T: Yes. She is a diver. She likes diving. Her hobby is diving.T shows a picture. divediving(呈现方式同riding a bike)Teach diving until students can read it.T: Diving, diving, she likes diving.(学生跟读,边说边做动作)(3)Teacher shows the third picture. Let Ss guess.They can discuss with the sentences “Whats her hobby? She likes play -playing the violinThen teacher shows the clear picture. Teach playing the violin. Pay attention to “the”T: Playing, playing, she likes playing the violin.(学生跟读,边说边做动作)(4) Use the same way to present“making kites” make-making kitesT: Making, making, he likes making kites.(学生跟读,边说边做动作)(5)Teacher shows a stamp. Teach stamp first. Then present“collecting stamps” collect-collecting stampsT: Collecting, collecting, she likes collecting stamps.设计意图 新单词逐个突破,提醒学生注意:ride-riding a bike,divediving,make-making kites,帮助突破难点。形象逼真的画面,能够刺激学生的感官,使枯燥的知识变得形象生动。利用旧知识充分操练了新句型之后,再将新词汇融入新句型进行教学,真正做到了“词不离句”。利用模糊技术将图片模糊,让学生在新知呈现之前,先利用新句型进行猜测,既实现了对新句型的真实运用,也充分调动了学生的积极性,做到了寓教于乐。Step3 Practice1. Students read after the teacher.Chant:Riding, riding, she likes riding a bike. Diving, diving, she likes diving.Playing, playing, she likes playing the violin.Making, making, he likes making kites.Collecting, collecting, she likes collecting stamps.设计意图将新词汇和难点句型放在一起以Chant的形式操练,朗朗上口,有助于学生记忆。由于学习新单词时已提前铺垫而分解了难度,学生能很快掌握。2. Interview your friends with the sentences below and fill in blanks.(1)Interview your friends:A: Whats your hobby? B: I like(2)Give a report in the class.I like ( ).( ) likes ( )For example: I like riding a bike. My friend Tom likes playing the violin.(学生提名“最佳小记者”,教师奖贴画) (2)Ask students to count how many boys/girls there are. They can answer it like 设计意图这几个环节,将Lets start, Lets play ,Group work融为一体进行处理,让学生运用所学新句型对朋友进行采访,不仅巩固了新句型,同时为学生创造了交流语言的环境,体现了语言教学的真实性和灵活开放性。 Step 4 Lets talk1. Review “There be”.(Show many pictures on the screen.) T: You know I like reading books. There is a book show on Sunday, so Im going to the show.T: There are some other shows. Lets have a look. Help Ss say with the sentence: There is aSs: There is a stamp show.Ss: There is a car show.Ss: There is a kite show.T: I want to see the shows. Can you go with me?Ss: OK. /Sure.T: Lets go together.
