The election involves 16 political parties. It is expected that, the main competition, as in previous elections, will be between the Justice and Development Party (AKP) and the Republican Peoples Party (CHP).Earlier on June 7, Turkey held parliamentary election, which involved 20 political parties. At that time, the AKP garnered 40.87 percent of votes, but for the first time since 2002 it lost the parliamentary majority (51 percent) and wasnt able to form a government alone.During the June election, the Republican Peoples Party (CHP) gained 24.95 percent of the vote, while the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) and the Peoples Democratic Party (HDP) finished with 16.29 percent and 13.12 percent of the votes, respectively. On July 9, the Turkish president instructed the AKP leader and current prime minister, Ahmet Davutoglu to form a cabinet of ministers. The prime minister had talks with leaders of three parliamentary parties, but they failed to reach an agreement.A final meeting was held Aug. 13 between with the PM Davutoglu and the leader of the oppositional Republican Peoples Party (CHP) Kemal Kilicdaroglu.During those negotiations too, the parties failed to agree to create a coalition government.Following that, the Turkish prime minister announced about holding one more parliamentary election.http:/en.trend.az/world/turkey/2451057.htmlSnap parliamentary election kicks off in Turkey1 NOVEMBER 2015,Snap parliamentary election kicked off in Turkey at 08:00 (UTC/GMT + 3 hours) Nov.1.The parliamentary election will continue till 17:00.Like in the previous parliamentary election, the Justice and Development Party (AKP) and the Republican Peoples Party (CHP) are expected to be the main rivals.Turkey held parliamentary election June 7, 2015 with participation of 20 political parties. As a result of this election, the Justice and Development Party garnered the largest number of votes (40.87 percent). However, it lost the parliamentary majority and couldnt form a government alone for the first time since 2002.Republican Peoples Party garnered 24.95 percent of votes, the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) 16.29 percent and the Peoples Democratic Party (HDP) 13.12 percent.Turkish president instructed the AKP leader and acting Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu to form the cabinet of ministers July 9. However, they failed to agree on creating a coalition government.Afterwards, Turkish prime minister said his country will repeatedly hold parliamentary election.http:/en.trend.az/world/turkey/2450703.htmlBulgarian police find nealry 130 refugees in refrigerated truck1 NOVEMBER 2015, 06:2Bulgaria says about 130 refugees have been discovered in a refrigerated truck on the border with Turkey, Press TV reported.Bulgarias Interior Ministry announced on Saturday that 38 men, 33 women and 58 children were found hiding among goods on the truck at the border crossing of Kapitan-Andreevo.The ministry spokeswoman said most of the asylum seekers were believed to be Syrians, adding that the truck driver had taken into police custody. The failed attempt to cross the border into the European Union in a refrigerated truck is reminiscent of a similar case in August when 71 migrants were found to have frozen to death in a cold-storage truck designed to carry frozen food.Bulgarian police on Saturday made checks of some 6,000 vehicles and arrested 16 suspected traffickers as well as 495 refugees nationwide seeking to transit the country clandestinely.Authorities fear increased arrivals ahead of the cold winter season.According to the International Organization for Migration (IOM), over 680,000 refugees fleeing from war, insecurity and persecution in the Middle East and North Africa have landed on European shores this year after making perilous sea journeys from Turkey to Greece and across the Mediterranean Sea to Italy.More than 3,000 have died or gone missing trying to reach Europe.http:/en.trend.az/world/other/2450847.htmlWho is haunted by Azerbaijans energy projects in Turkey?29 OCTOBER 2015,Today, cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey makes their strategic tandem a driving force in a large region that extends from Eastern Europe to Central Asia and the Middle East. And, of course, this haunts other players in the region, which are trying to shake this “boat” from outside these two countries, as well as inside Turkey.Implementation of a coordinated independent policy, major infrastructure projects, financial, energy and human resources of the two countries, and the great prospects that open up for them, irritates all the major world powers. This is obvious, for example, in attitudes towards both Azerbaijan and Turkey. And despite of the actions to “worsen” relations between Baku and Ankara from outside these two countries have become an everyday reality, the attempts to do the same thing inside Turkey is at least surprising.Recently, Turkish media have begun a peculiar campaign, which has no grounds for example statements about “inexpediency” of the Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) for Turkey. Some bad “experts” say that Ankara will be paying for the pumping of Azerbaijans gas across the country. This fictional information doesnt correspond to reality, and it seems to be an outright stupidity.Apparently, those “experts” arent quite familiar with such a concept as transit tariffs. That is, Turkey is not going to pay for pumping gas it is going to get money for that. And the more gas will be supplied, the more Turkey will receive. It should be stressed that Turkey will additionally receive few bcms of Azerbaijani gas via TANAP.Of course, the fact that the TANAP project is being implemented rapidly bothers a number of countries wishing Turkey to remain energy dependent on them.Currently, Turkey imports gas from Iran, Russia and Azerbaijan. Moreover, the country has signed agreements with Algeria and Nigeria for supplying 4.4 bcm and 1.2 bcm of liquefied gas per year, respectively. But almost all countries, except Azerbaijan, had serious problems with Turkey regarding the gas prices.Ankara appealed to the International Court of Arbitration regarding the price on Iranian gas supplied to Turkey in March 2012.Turkey appealed to the International Court of Arbitration Oct. 26 over the prices of Russian gas supplied to the country. No matter how the concerned forces try to harm the Azerbaijani energy projects in Turkey, all these attempts are doomed to failure. The reason is that Azerbaijani energy projects in Turkey, as opposed to other projects, are real. They are directed to the development of the region. They are not of political pressure in nature.http:/en.trend.az/world/turkey/2450074.htmlDifficulties in Russia-Turkey relations not to turn into confrontation29 OCTOBER 2015, 19:The difficulties in the current relations between Russia and Turkey will not turn into any confrontation between Ankara and Moscow amid Russian military operations in Syria, Ismail Alper Joshgun, Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan, told Trend. He said that despite the Turkish-Russian differ
