removing the contaminants of the hydraulic fluid Contaminants mainly occur in the form of metallic abrasions laquer rubbed off seal parts dust and scale These dirt particles are transported to all points of a hydraulic system Constantly increasing performance of hydraulic systems and devices results in high requirements with respect to the switching accuracy of valves This has been achieved among others by reducing the fit tolerances between housing and control piston Contaminants can thus cause immediate failures if the slide of a valve jams due to the presence of dirt particles differential pressure An increase in contamination of the filter element causes the differential pressure to rise If the pressure difference exceeds a preset value the filter element has to be screw driver Next pull the plug type filter out of the bore Please note that residual fluid may flow out Please rinse the filter thougly and refit the filter into the housing Refit the staple lock and
