缓和应对气候变化的协同支撑能力 环境保护部环境规划院于 2008 年 8 月设立 了气候变化与环境政策研究中心 Center for Climate and Environmental Policy CCEPCCEP Global climate change has become an important area of concern involved in international political economic and diplomatic arenas The acceleration of economic growth and continued expansion in domestic consumption in china are highly dependent on the use of fossil fuels Consequnetly China has become the largest GHG emitter in the world Curently China faces the need to reduce GHG emissions domestically and at the same time meets increasing international pressure to make future commitments in GHG emissions reduction In order to increase the co ordinating capacity in policies to deal with domestic environmental pollution problems and international climate challenges in mitigation impact and adaptation to climate change Chinese Academy for Environmental Planning decided to establish the Center for Climate and Environmental Policy CCEPCCEP in August 2008 中心管理与工作人员 research fellow at the Center for International Climate and Environmental Research Oslo CICERO Oslo University Norway and administrative coordinator Sino Norwegian Center for Interdisciplinary Environmental Research SINCIERE In 1999 2005 he was director of the Climate and Energy Program World Wide Fund for Nature WWF China In 1991 1997 he was lecturer at Lund University Sweden senior research fellow at Harvard University and International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis IIASA in Austria He received his Ph D on Public Administration from Roskilde University Denmark in 1995 and Master of Science and Technology Policy in Lund University Sweden in 1989 Dr Gan has conducted research and project program management in renewable energy energy conservation rural energy MissionsMissions Focused on the key demands in climate change and environmental policies CCEP conducts policy relevant research on climate change sustainable energy environmental policy and strategy in order to promote sustainable social development and the hamonization in economy and the environment to strengthen the Center s coordinating capacity in dealing with environmental protection and climate change to provide support to the Chinese Government on scientific data and policy advice in climate change sustainable energy and environmental policies CCEP will also serve as a professional training center on climate change environment and energy policies to increase the human resource capacity in China and being a platform of domestic and international cooperation and communication
