PEP小学英语三年级下册第三单元第二课时教学设计Unit 3 At the zooPart A Lets learn(备课教师:卜新宇)教学时间:_ 总第_课时教学目标:1.能听、说、认读几个描述外貌特征的形容词tall fat thin short。2.听懂含有形容词的几个指令,并按指令做动。3.培养学生热爱动物的美好情感,增强保护动物的意识。教学重点:掌握有关描述外貌特征的形容词: tall short fat thin 教学难点:1、能够在实际情境中运用句子: Look at that monkey /.2、thin中的th的发音。教学准备:1.教师准备本课时的单词卡。2.教师准备录音机及磁带或者光盘。3.教师准备本课所需的课件。 教学调整或生成记录学与教的主要过程Step1、Warm-up1. (1)Greeting.T: Good morning, boys and girls.Ss: Good morning.T: How are you?Ss: I am fine, thank you. What about you?T: I am very well. Thanks.2.Lets chant together T: Do you remember this chant ? Listen! Lets chantThe man is the father-tall, tall, tallThe woman is the mother-not so tallThats the son-small, small, smallThey are a family, one and all!3. Free talk.To show the picture and talk about it .The teacher demonstrates firstly .T: Look at this picture . S: Its so nice .Who is he / she ?T: He is Yao Ming . He is so tall . Step2、Presentation1.To show other picture and say flowing .T: Please look at this picture . Whats this ?S: Its a bear .T: Wow! Its so fat . ( Show a picture of a monkey ) T: Whats this ? S: Its a monkey . T: Look at the monkey. Its so fat. (板书fat,自然拼读、听音、并领读) Can you read this? Lets chant together .Be fat , be fat ,be fat , fat ,fat, fat .(做动作2. Show other picture and say T: Look ! Who is coming ?S: Its monkey. T:Oh! Is it fat ?S: No, it isnt . T: Its thin . Look at me ! I am thin. Who is thin ? ( Hands up) Oh , she is thin , he is thin too. ( 板书thin , 自然拼读、听音、领读单词,可以出示thank)Chant together again .Be thin, be thin, be thin , thin , thin, thin .3.The teacher continues to say T: Please guess who he is ?Ss: Its giraffe . T: What is he like ? (教师做手势)Ss: Its tall . T:Yes , its so tall .(板书tall , 听音、自然拼读,领读单词) Chant together . Be tall, be tall , be tall , tall , tall .4. The teacher says flowing T:Look at XX and me . I am tall . He / She is short .(教师做出手势)。 T: XX is tall . XX is short . XX is short too. (板书short ,听音、领读单词)Chant together .Be short , be short, be short , short , short ,short . 5. listen to the tape and ask the students to listen and flowing.6. To ask the students to read the words .Step3、Practise1. Look at the word cards and read quickly 2、 Lets play。T: Now , Lets play a game! I say you do. (老师发出指令,学生做动作。例如:Be fat. Be fat.同学们做出相应动作。内容为Lets do.) 3. Listen and tick ( T) or cross (F)4、Pair work.Show the different pictures and compare Eg. Look at . Its . . Look at XX .He/ She is .Step4、Consolidation and extension.Group work To introduce your partner .Look at the picture . This is my mother/ father / sister . She /He is tall/fat/short/ thin .
