Difficult point:Reading method, and use the Ordinal numbers in story. Teaching aids: Cards, CAI, pictures, picture book, etc. Step1 Review /Warm up:1)“brain storm” about the 26 English letters to review the ordinal numbers in last two periods .设计意图:通过头脑风暴,让学生快速复习26个字母的顺序,通过这个活动激发学生的思维,体现学生思维的敏捷性。2) enjoy a song :“The Baby Animals Song”T: What animals do you see? Can you remember?S: I see theT: We can see many animals and baby animals, we call the baby dog puppy, we call the baby cat kitten. Puppy will grow up into dog. Lamb will grow up into sheep. Kitten will grow up into cat. 设计意图:通过歌曲激发学生的兴趣,引导学生观察动物成长前后的称呼,引出学习的主题growing,激发学生的形象思维。Step 2 OverviewTask assignment: English story showToday , our topic is about growing . The task for today is: find out how an animal or a plant grow. Then tell us a story about growing.设计意图:本课采用任务型教学法,任务驱动式学习是取得有效的学习效果,提高学习兴趣的重要手段。本课的任务是在图片和关键词的提示下,通过小组合作以讲故事的方式表达动植物的生长过程。Step 3: Presentation(1) lead inT:Sarah likes animals very much.
