providethe followinginformation:a)number ofthispartofISO15590and yearof publication(i.e.ISO15590-1:xx);b)bend designationof eachbend;c)quantity ofbends;d)supply ofmother pipebythepurchaserorthe manufacturer;e)required benddimensions,including?diameter(inside oroutside),?minimumwallthickness,?bend radius,?bend angle,?tangent lengths;f)end preparationif differentfrom squareends.8.2Additional informationThe purchasershould specifythe followingadditional information:a)minimum designtemperature;b)maximum designtemperature(and anyrequirement forhigh-temperature tensiletesting);c)maximum wallthickness;d)special dimensionalrequirements;e)requirements forsupplementary inspectionand testing;f)requirements forgauging andother measurementsof dimensions,if differentfrom thispartofISO15590;g)pipeline designstandard ordesign factors,if differentfromISO13623;h)pipeline operatingconditions;i)whether itisnecessaryto applypost-bending heat treatment;j)mechanical-property requirementsatthemaximum designtemperature;k)Charpy impacttest temperature;l)requirements forproof,burst orhydrostatic testing;m)hold-points forwitness andapproval bypurchaser;-,-,-ISO15590-1:xx(E)?ISOxxAll rightsreserved9n)surface condition;o)coating orpainting requirements;p)marking requirements,if differentfromthispartofISO15590;q)packaging andshipping contentoftheinspectiondocument;u)requirements forhardness testing;v)other specialrequirements.8.3Information onthe mother pipe8.3.1If the mother pipeis suppliedbythepurchaser,the followinginformation onthe motherpipe shallbe providedtothemanufacturer:a)purchasing specification;b)pipe diameter,inside oroutside;c)pipe wallthickness,nominal orminimum;d)pipe lengths;e)pipe manufacturer.8.3.2If available,thefollowingadditional informationshall alsobe provided:a)pipe materialspecification andpipe materialcertificates,including chemical position,heattreatment,mechanical properties,dimensions andresultsofNDT;b)welding procedurespecification andweld metalchemicalpositionfor SAWLand SAWHpipe;c)weld-seam-repair welding-procedurespecificationfor SAWLand SAWHpipe.9Manufacturing9.1Mother pipeMother pipe shallbe manufactured in aordancewithISO3183.Mother pipeforthemanufacture ofPSL2bends shallbe in aordancewithISO3183:xxPSL2.Mother pipeforthemanufacture ofPSL2S bends shallbemade inaordancewithISO3183:xx,Annex Hwiththeadditionalrequirementsspecified in Annex BofthispartofISO15590.The motherpipe maybesuppliedby eitherthepurchaserorthemanufacturer.If themotherpipeis suppliedbythepurchaser,themanufacturershouldbeconsulted astothe required chemicalposition,properties anddimensions ofthemotherpipe,(including seamweld andseam repairweld)with regardto itssuitability forinduction bending.ISO15590-1:xx(E)10?ISOxxAll rightsreserved Themotherpipeshould notcontain weldrepairs tothepipebody.The wallthicknessofthemotherpipeshallhave adequateallowance forwall thinningattheextrados dueto inductionbending.The surfaceofthemotherpipeshallbefree fromcontamination bylow-melting-temperature metals,such ascopper,zinc,brass andaluminium.9.2Qualification test bend Themanufactureofall PSL-level testbends shallbe carried out inaordancewith an MPSthatshallbe qualifiedinaordancewith Clause9before mencementof production,or atthe beginningof productionif agreed.NOTE AnnexA givesdetails ofMPS.A testbend withatleastsufficient arclength toallow extractionofthenecessary testspecimens shallbemanufacturedinaordancewith eachpreliminary MPS.The inspectionand testingofthetestbend shall includetangents andboth stopand starttransition zonesif includedintheproduced bends.The testbendshallbe testedand inspectedinaordancewith Clause10.The MPSbeing usedfor productionshall,for eachoftheessential variablesin Table1,specify?the valuesrecorded duringthe manufacturingofthetestbend;?the permissiblerange duringproduction bending.The variationin essentialvariables shallnot exceedthe permissiblelimits shownin Table1.9.3Production bendingInduction bendingshallbecarriedoutinaordancewithaqualified MPSas specifiedinAnnexA.Interruption oftheinductionbending operationshall resultin rejectionofthebend.9.4Post-bending heattreatment Post-bending heattreatment ofbends isnot mandatoryfor pliancewiththispartofISO15590.Post-bending heattreatment maybe performedto achievetherequiredmaterial properties,improve corrosionresistance,remove transitionzones atthe endsofthebend arcor torelieve residualstresses.The temperatureof eachfurnace-load ofbendsshallbe monitoredby thermocouplesconnected directlyto selectedbends andshallberecorded.The typeand locationofthethermocouples shallbeasspecifiedinthe MPS.9.5Forming andsizing
