accountingisincomplete.Soilsareveryacidicduetofertiliseruseandfossil-fuelpollution,andotheralkaline(碱
性的)mineralsinsoilwillreleasecarbonevenwithoutlimestone.Hesaysaddedacidity,notliming,istoblame
foremissions.
Toaccuratelyassessliming'semissions,researchersshouldcompareCO2releaseanduptakewithand
