(2) Ask students to read the statements and responses and match the statements with the pictures a-d. (3) Check the correct answers to the whole class.2. Step 2: Presentation Grammar Focus 1. Divide the students into two groups and ask one group of students to read the questions and the other group of students to read the answers. 2. Ask students to work with their partners and practice the conversations. 3. Invite some students to act the conversations out. Step 3: Practice 1. Teach activity 3a (1) Ask students to skim the passage first and try to know the meaning of the passage. (2) Ask students to read the passage carefully again and try to fill in the blanks with the correct forms of the verbs in the brackets. (3) Check the correct answers to the whole class. Answers: know, do, think, go, will be, tells, have, wear, will look, go, walk, will take, take, will be. 2. Teach activity 3b 1. Ask students to read the the heading of the sentence and make sure they know the meaning of all the sentences. 2. Ask students to complete the sentence using their own ideas. 3. Invite some students to tell their answers. 4. Do some exercise. Step 4: Consolidation Teach activity 3c 1. Lead students to read the instructions and make sure they know what to do. 2. Ask students to write a story with their group on a piece of paper. The first person begins with story with “I think I will.” The others add sentences with “if”, Pass the paper around twice.
