Unit Two Family Objectives: By the end of this unit, the students should be able to 1) grasp the key words and language skills. 2) clear the members of a family, and know how to call. 3) comprehend the two passages and master the useful expressions in them, and the grammar focus. 4) do all the exercises by themselves or with some help. Introduction Lead-in: First, teacher ask students some questions: how many people are there in their families? Who are they? What are they? Then their opinions are written down on the blackboard. Teacher shows a picture about her family. And introduce them to students. Then tell them who are they, and what they do. There are (6) people in my family. They are my grandfather, my grandmother, father, and I. this is my grandfather, he is a doctor. That is my grandmother, she is a worker. (the same about mother, father, sister, brother , uncle.)Unit One Part I Section I. Describe and Reading I Presentation: Show the picture and introduce them who are they, and what do they do.use the sentence pattern:This/that is He/she is They areThis is my grandfather, he is a doctor.
