新目标八年级英语下册第七单元教学设计 Section A (1A-1C) 拓升萍 (一) 教材内容分析本节课是新目标八年级英语下册第七单元的内容,本单元是在学习了形容词比较级的基础上,进一步学习最高级。通过复习和学习一些地理知识,练习最高级,让学生在完成任务的过程中,运用所学知识进行英语交流,培养运用英语解决实际问题的能力。(二) 学情分析本课的教学操练点,谈论的是地理知识,学生在初中地理课本中都有所了解,展示一些地理图片可以引发学生学习兴趣。在本课教学设计的过程中,注重启发引导的同时,更要注重教学方法的灵活性,激发学生学习的兴趣,让学生乐于接受,易于接受。(三)教学目标1语言目标:掌握本单元重点词汇及能用比较级和最高级谈论各之最。2 技能目标:能听懂和谈论有关地理和自然的话题。3 情感目标:培养学生热爱大自然,保护环境的意识。(四)教学重点短语: in size, in the world, 2 meters tall/long/wide,句子: Whats the highest mountain in the world?Qomolangma.How long is Qomolangma?Its 8,844.43 meters high. Its higher than any other mountain.Which is the deepest salt lake in the world?The Caspian Sea is the deepest of all the salt lake.Did you know that China is one of the oldest countries in the world?Yes, I did. Its much older than the US.(五)教学难点:形容词和副词的比较级和最高级变化规则和用法。 物体之间的对比。(六)教学步骤Step 1 Brainstorm:Ask students to do a brainstorm activity about subjects.Ask them about their favorite subject in order to bring out the topic today: geography.Todays task is to talk about facts about geography which contains size, depth, height, length.本环节旨在引导学生复习科目名称,引出本节课主题和重点单词。square n. 平方 meter n. 米 deep adj. 深的 desert n. 沙漠 wide adj. 宽的;宽阔的Step 2 Before listening1. Present photos and talk about them 呈现六盘山,沙湖,鸣翠湖等风景图片,激发学生学习mountain, desert, lake, river的表达法2. Count numbers3. 学生每人随机发一张数字牌,讲自己拿到的数字大声读出。通过游戏的方法,使学生熟悉数字读法。抽到8848.43的同学试着说出这个数字有关的知识,让学生回忆地理知识。试问:a. A:What is the highest mountain in NingXia?B:LiuPan mountain is the highest mountain in NingXia.“How big/high/long/big is ? and help the students to answer: Its meters/kilometers/cm big/high/long/big.b. Do you want to know more famous places?Show students pictures and descriptions about the Caspian Sea, the Nile, the Sahara.让学生通过图片及活动,了解更多地理常识。Step 3 1a Match the facts you know. Match the facts and the four places with: size, deep ,long ,high 学生根据常识和表格内容填空,为随后的结对活动做准备。Step 4. What is the biggest salt lake in China?Then make a suvey: A : Which place do you like best? B : Qinghai lake A :Why?
