Its important for students to learn how to describe animals and express preferences. Through this lesson, students can use adjective of quality to describe animals and master some useful sentences, as well as understand the importance of protecting animalsPart II Teaching objectives1. Knowledge objectives:a) By the end of this lesson, students can describe animals.b)Students can learn how to express their own opinions. Why do/dont you like?Because they are 2. Ability objectives:a) To observe and describe animals.b) To talk about their preferences3. Moral objectives:a) Learnmore about different animals. b).Get Students to understand the importance of protecting animals.Part III Teaching key and difficult points1. To enable the students to use the new words and phrases to express their own ideas.2. To develop students listening and speaking abilityPart IV The analysis of students The topic of this passage is related to daily life, it may easily arouse students interest. Most students have known something about animals. But how to describe animals and express presences is a little difficult for them. Therefore, its necessary for the teacher to help them and encourage them to speak more as well as have more confidence. Part V Teaching methods & studying methods1. Teaching methods In order to develop students speaking ability and divergent thinking, communicative approach and task based approach will be used in the class. In other words, students could get a better understanding of this listen though taking different tasks. Besides, PPT, multi-media slides, computer, projector are needed as the teaching aids.2. Studying methods The students will study in a relaxing atmosphere, and the whole class will be divided into 6 groups.
