Look at 2 pictures and say “I have too much homework to do and I have to study too much. What should I do?” And lead in the title about giving advice”Why dont you talk to your parents?”2. To write the title on the black board.3. To show the learning aims.Period2:Presentation(30m)Step1:Talk about your problems. Ask students “Do you have any problems in your daily life? “ and then lead students to learn and talk about these problems in 1aStep2: Students discuss if they think the problems are serious or not?And give reasons.Step3: Students use target languages “Why dont you.Why not.?shouldcould” to give advice about the problems.Step4: Talk about a girls problems.(1b) Lead students to look at the two pictures on page 25 and guess Whats wrong with her? And then finish 1b listen and circle the problems you hear.Step5:Talk about a Peters problems.(2a 2b) Lead students to look at the picture on page 26 and guess Whats wrong with Peter? And then listen to the tape and check the answers.Ste6: finish2a Listen. Peters friend is giving him advice. Fill in the blanks with could or should.Step7:finish 2b Why doesnt Peter like his friends advice?Write the letters( a-e )next to the advice in 2a.Step8: finish 2c Role-play a conversation between Peter and his friend.
