Lead them to make conversations in pairs with a weather report. After that I lead students to do the listening practice. Then play a game with the disk to practice the structure. Finally, lead them to summarize the key points in this lesson.Part 6 Teaching aidsMultimedia and a blackboardI use Multimedia because its interesting and easy for students to learn English. Its necessary to write down the target language on the blackboard.Part 7 Teaching proceduresStep 1 Leading-inUse a picture to lead to the topic Its raining. And lead to the vocabulary by a video of the weather report and some pictures.Step 2 Presentation1. Learn new vocabulary with the pictures:rain, windy, cloudy, sunny, snow, weather,2. Play a game:Rotate the disk and encourage students to role-play in pairs with Hows the weather?Its .3. Pay attention to the grammar:nouns(名词) adjectives(形容词)rain rainycloud cloudywind windysnow snowysun sunnyStep 3 Pairwork to master key words1. Encourage students to talk about the weather in different places in China. Then practice with the target language:Hows the weather in ?Its .2. Ask students to match the words with the pictures in 1a. It helps students to remember the words of weather.Step 4 Listening1b.I will play twice for them, for the first time, they only listen and pay attention to the pronunciation of the city names.
