Play a game one by one. 2.Practice Ask the students to answer the questions. 3.Speaking Make a survey. Ask your classmates in your group what they were doing when something important happened in the past. Then one student can say own survey results each group. Step v SummaryIn this class, first by looking at the picture we introduced the topic “What were you doing when the rainstorm came?”Then we brought in the target language the past continuous tense. We grasped the meaning of it and remembered the form of it. Of course during studying the target language we have learned some vocabulary. Last we distinguished the oneconjuction word “when”.
