Ss: Good afternoon, Ms Liu .T: Nice to see you!Ss: Nice to see you, too. T: Thank you, please sit down. Im very happy to stand here and share this class with you. I believe well have a good time this class. Do you think so? Believe in yourself, and youll be the best. Now lets begin a new lesson- “Unit 4 Dont eat in class.” ( Please read after me for three times) .T: Do you like music? Ss: Yes. First, lets enjoy a video. You can clap your hands with the music or sing the song loudly. Do you like this song? Whats its Chinese name? Can you tell me? Good, thank you. Di Zi Gui first teaches us how to be a good student, child and person. Its the guide to a happy life. Now people in many countries are learning it. Do you want to be a good student? Do you want to be a good child? And a good citizen? OK, then youll be China Good Youth. Do you think so? So we must keep the rules. (Please read follow me for three times.) Look here! At school, we must keep the school rules. In a library, we must keep the library rules. At home, we must keep the family rules. And in a dinning hall, we must keep the dinning rules. And we cant break the rules. Right? (Please read follow me.)Step2. Discussion -the school rules.Now lets have a discussion about the school rules. At school, as a good student, what can we do? And what cant we do? Lets look at these pictures. 1.T: Maybe you sometimes get up late, but can we be late for class? Ss: No, we cant.T: We cant be late for class. Please remember this school rule - Dont be late for class. (Read follow me.) “Be late for” equal to “arrive late for.” So, we can slao say to the boy, “Dont arrive late for class.” (Read follow me.) “You must be on time.” (Read follow me.) (Read together.)2. T: Lets look at the next picture - “hallways”. (Read follow me.) Look! Whats he doing? Ss: Hes running.T: Can we run in the hallways? Answer me.Ss: No, we cant. T: Can we run in the hallways? S: No, we cant.T: Please ask the next one. We cant run in the hallways. Because its dangerous. Please tell me the school rule - “Dont run in the hallways.” (This line, read the rule one by one. ) Good job!3. T: Do you like delicious food? Ss: Yes.T: Who can ask and answer? Please. Who is your partner? Please.Ss: Can we eat in the classroom? No, we cant.T: The next pair. Tell me the school rule, one two go - “Dont eat in the classroom”. (Read together.) You are so clever.4. T: Listening to music is a good way to relax ourselves. But this girl is listening to music in class. Is it right? No. We cant listen to music in class. Row 1 ask and Row 4answer, Please. You can listen to music after class.” (The girls read for three times. Then boys read.)5. T: Look at these two boys. They are fighting. (Read follow me.) “fight”. Can we fight with others? Ss: No, we cant. T: What can we say to them? - “Dont fight with others. We must be friendly to others.”(Row 2 and Row 4 read together.)6.T: Look! Some students are cleaning the classroom. Do you clean the classroom every day?Ss: Yes, we have to clean the classroom every day. It is also a school rule. (Read follow me.) “We have to clean the classroom every day.” (Row 3 and Row 6 read together.)Step3. Presentation. T: Good job! Now, look at these school rules in the left box, read follow me for three times, OK? 1. Dont arrive late for class. You must be on time.2. Dont run in the hallways.3. Dont eat in the classroom. You must eat in the dining hall.4. Dont listen to music in class.5. Dont fight. T: Very good! Now, look at this picture. Are they good students? What rules are these students breaking? What cant we do ? What do we have to do?Get students to work in groups. As they are working, move around the room offering help as needed. Then get some students to present their reports to the class.Dear boys and girls, Maybe sometimes we think these rules are strict with us, but parents and schools make rules to help us grow better.
