Unit 6 Im watching TVSection B Reading 教案 初一 杨莎莎一、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:1) 能掌握以下单词:pool, shop, supermarket, man, host, study, state, the United States, American, dragon, Dragon Boat Festival, young, race, say, other, children, miss, wish, delicious, living room 2) 能掌握以下句型: What time is it in Beijing? Its eight oclock in the morning. Zhu Hui is talking on the phone. Zhu Hui misses his family and wishes to have his moms delicious zongzi. 2. 情感态度价值观目标:通过阅读电视报道,知道朱辉在端午节不同的过法,了解中西方文化的不同,在接近生活常态的交际中能乐于模仿,敢于开口,积极参与,提升学生的阅读能力和语篇理解能力。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点: 1) 掌握本课出现生的词及表达方式。2) 进一步练习现在进行时态的句子来描述他人在做的事情。3) 通过听、说、读的练习,提高学生们的综合运用能力。2. 教学难点: 阅读短文,获得相关信息,完成相关任务。三、教辅工具:A tape recorder and some pictures四、教学过程Step1. Warming- up and words revision1. Greet students and then review some new words and expressions in the article. 2. Words consolidation: word gameDivide students into two groups. Let students stand up and try to translate the words into English or Chinese as soon as possible to compete which group answers the most quickly. Step 2. Lead-in Show some photos about Dragon Boat Festival and zongzi. Let some students tell something they know about the customs of this festival. Then, look at the clocks and ask your partner about the time in different places. By the way, let students practice the sentence pattern “What time is it in Beijing?” ”Its nine a.m.” etc. In different places, time is different. Zhu Hui and his family are in different places and the time is different. They are doing different things. In this way, lead in the reading part. Step 3. Reading 1. Fast readingStudents read the TV report and answer the three questions below.(1). Why are Zhu Huis family watching boat races and making zongzi?(2). Does Zhu Hui like his host family? (3).
