(Section A 1a-2c)年级八年级教学目标1.知识与技能目标:(1)掌握单词:prepare (for), exam, flu, available (2)掌握如何发出邀请及如何接受和拒绝邀请2.情感目标:(1)通过创造语言情景,提高学生的学习兴趣和参与度。(2)学习中重视学生对知识的产出,培养学生对已学知识的运用。(3)培养学生正确生活态度的人文关怀。教学重难点1教学重点:引导学生学会正确发出邀请及礼貌地接受和拒绝邀请。2教学难点:本单元创设了语言情境(a party preparation),如何让学生在自主、合作、探究学习中达到教学目标是一个难点。教学策略歌曲、情景设置、小组讨论、对话表演、游戏、听力、说唱等。教学步骤设计思路Step1 Warming-up用教师自创歌曲”Can you come to my party?”导入主题情景(an English party preparation),让学生在歌声中轻松地进入学习状态,切入学习主题。(1分钟)Step 1: Warming-up(上课开始前就放音乐,让学生跟着唱,Can you come to my party?.)T: Class begins. Ss: Stand up.T: Class, how are you today? Ss: Im fine, and you?T: Today I come here not to teach you English, but to invite you to come to an English in my class next week. Can you come to my English party next week? Ss: Thank you! Most of you say “Yes”, but some of you cant come. It doesnt matter! Later, we will talk about the reasons why you cant come. T: You know that in an English party, you will listen to English, speak English, read and write English, so today I come here to help you prepare something for your English listening, speaking, writing and reading. This is a party preparation.(板书 a party preparation) OK, I am the CEO of the party preparation. T: In this English party preparation, if you want to have fun, you must be active(板书:have fun-active). Will you be active in this party preparation? Ss:T: And first, lets sing an English song. (Slide 7) “Can you come to my party? Can you come to my party? Can you come to my party? And sure, Id love to.” “Can you come to my party? Can you come to my party? Can you come to my party? Im sorry, I cant.” “He can come to your party. She can come to your party. They can come to your party. Sorry, she is not free.”1分32秒通过视听感受提高学生的学习兴趣,创设情景活跃课堂气氛。Step2 Leading-in通过问答的形式板书呈现主题邀请句型及其答语,教读。(1分钟)Step 2: Lead-in T: Class, welcome to our English party preparation. (Slide 8) 讲述教学目标 So if I want to invite you to come to my English party next week, what can I say? Ss: T: Yeah, I can say “Can you come to my party?”And if you can come to my party, what can you say? Ss:. T: (Slide 9) Yeah, you can say “Sure, Id love to.” (板书) But if you cant come to my party, what can you say? Ss: T: Yeah, you can say “Sorry, I cant.”, “Sorry, I am not free/available.” “Im afraid not.” (板书) (教读) T: Oh, our party is coming next week, but someone cant come to our party, can you help me find them? Will you be active? Ss: 1分27秒循序渐进,呈现教学目标,全面了解要学的内容。Step3 Presentation利用各种形式(小组小组、男生女生、组长同班同学)的问答呈现并练习邀请句型及其答语。中间在练习短语时适当让学生说出新的短语,注重学生的产出(3分钟)Step 3: PresentationT: (help my parents这个短语主要通过图片呈现) Now please look at Slide 10(help my parents). Oh, Sally cant come to our party, why? Ss: T: Yeah, because she has to help her parents. Now read the phrase after me. “help her parents” “help my parents” (板书help my parents) Now boys ask: “Can you come to my party? Girls answer “Sorry, I cant. I have to help my parents.” OK?Boys: Can you come to my party? (手指向答案,提示学生回答)Girls: Sorry, I cant. I have to help my parents.T: Class, can Sally come to our party?Ss: Sorry, she cant. She has to help her parents. T: (prepare for an exam这个短语主要通过邀请现场的两位男生和一位女生上台表演来呈现) Show Slide 11(prepare for an exam) Oh, the two handsome boys cant come to our party. Its a pity! Lets see why? (三位同学开始表演)T: Why cant they come to our party?Ss: Because they T: Yeah, they have to prepare for an exam. (板书prepare for an exam) Now who is the group leader of Group One? Ok, group leader, please teach your classmates to read the phrase for two times. “prepare for an exam” Now girls ask: “Can you come to my party?” Boys answer “Sorry, I cant. I have to prepare for an exam.” (板书) , OK?Girls: Can you come to our party? (手指向答案,提示学生回答)Boys: Sorry, I cant. I have to prepare for an exam.T: Girls, can they come to our party? Go!Boys: Sorry, they cant. They have to prepare for an exam. T: (go to the doctor和meet my friend 这两个短语主要通过预先录制的视频呈现) Now look at Slide 12(go to the doctor) Oh, the boy cant come. Why? Ss: T: Yeah, he has to go to the doctor. (板书go to the doctor) Now read the phrase after the group leader of group one. “go to the doctor” T: Now I want you(1组组长) to ask “Can you come to my party?” And you(其他学生) answer “Sorry, Im not free. I have to go to the doctor.” (板书) , OK?1组组长: Can you come to our party? (手指向答案,提示学生回答)Ss: Sorry, Im not free. I have to go to the doctor.T: Ok, group leader, “Can the sick boy come to our party?” Go!Ss: Sorry, hes not free. He has to go to the doctor. T: Boy/Gril(1组组长), how about their answers? “Well done?” or “Just so so?” So, say “well done” to them! (加入手势,双手大拇指)T: Now look at Slide 13(meet my friend) Oh, why cant Dongdong come? Ss: T: Yeah, he has to meet his friends. (板书meet my friends) (the group leader of group two, teach them, “meet my friends”) Now you ask “Can you come to my party?” And the girl/boy(二组组长) will answer “Im not available(这个单词可以多教读几遍). I have to meet my friends.” (板书) , OK?Ss: Can you come to our party? (手指向答案,提示学生回答)2组组长: Im not available. I have to meet my friends.T: Class, Can Dongdong come to my party? Go!2组组长: Hes not available. He has to meet his friends. T: Class, how about his/her(2组组长) answers? “Well done?” “Outstanding!” or “Bad!” So, say “well done” to him/her. (加入手势)T: (have the flu这个短语主要通过预先录制的音频对话呈现) Slide 14 (Mother: Lucy, why cant you come to Mr Wus English party? Lucy: Oh mom, I have the flu.) Show Slide 14(have the flu) Oh, why cant Lucy come? Ss: T: Yeah, she has the flu. (板书have the flu) Now read the phrase after him/her(2组组长). “have the flu” Now Group 1, 2, 3 ask: “Can?” And Group 4-6 answer “Sorry, Im afraid not. I have the flu.” (板书) , OK?T: Group 1-3, Can you come to my party? (手指向答案,提示学生回答)Group 4-6: Im afraid not. I have the flu.T: Group 1-3, Lucy. Group 1-3: Can Lucy come to our party?Group 4-6: Im afraid not. She has the flu. T: How about your conversation? Ss: T: Yeah, excellent! 3分30秒T: Now look at Slide 15(短语总结,让学生读) T: Now I want boys to read “help my parents”(升调) and girls to read “”(降调) 50秒情景操练,巩固新知。Step4 Practice(前边刚复习了几个句型,本节开始在原有句型上进行拓展、产出;然后做转盘游戏,把本节课的重点句型和产出的短语结合,进行融合性产出。To play a game: Slide 16T: Now I want you to make more phrases using “go to, prepare for, meet my, have, help my, come to a/anparty” To play a game: Slide 17-18 T: OK, boys and girls, lets come to the second part of our party preparation and play a game. (让boy assistant转动转盘,用指针指指着的短语问任何一个同学,然后再选3个学生上来做游戏) 预计2分钟 (到这里花费大约11分钟) T: Look at Slide 19, now turn to page 65, Unit 9, finish 1a. (3组组长) 预计1分30秒 (到这里花费大约14分钟) Pair Work: (Slide 20-21) T: Ok, class, we have learned how to invite others to our party, but you know, parties are not the same, we have many kinds of parties, can you tell other parties?(2名学生发言) T: Yeah, we have different kinds of parties, look at the screen, (show Slide 20) (4组组长教读) (a Christmas/Surprise/New Years party圣诞聚会,a birthday party生日庆祝会,a dinner party宴会,a garden party游园会,a welcome party欢迎会,a housewarming party乔迁宴会 an English/evening party) T: Show Slide 21 (5组和6组组长) 演示对话T: OK, class, talk with your classmate. (一分钟后抽2组学生练习对话) 预计4分钟 T: Ok, class, just now, we practiced your speaking, now lets practice your listening for the coming English party next week. Will you be active? Will you be active? Look at Slide 22, Slide 23, Slide 24 and finish 1b, 2a, 2b T: (让3位志愿者分别念出1b, 2a, 2b的答案,老师掌握, 让学生对每个志愿者的工作作出评价。 ) 预计5分钟 (到这里花费大约23分钟)调动学生的学习兴趣,巩固新知。利用已学知识,产出新知识。Step5 ConsolidationGroup WorkT: Ok, class, we have practiced speaking,reading, listening, now well practice writing. Look at Slide 25T: In this part, you and your group members will make an invitation card together and use your invitation card to invite one student or one group to your party. Do it now! T: Team work analysis(小组评价): Ok, lets see which team is the best. Oh, its team, and all of you will be invited to my English party but this team will get the best seats in the party next week. Give them a big hand! (Group Work大约花费9分钟)T: Ok, lets come to the third part of this party preparation, lets rap.Lets rap I say, you say (Slide 26-27)I say “can you”, you say “Yes”.I say “Yes”, you say “Sure”.I say “Sure”, you say “Id love to”.I say “No”, you say “I cant”.I say “I cant”, you say “not free”.I say “not free”, you say “not available”. (一遍30秒)小组学习,拓展延伸,小组总结,巩固运用。在实际情景中使用已学知识,活学活用。Step 6: Summary (to show Slide 27)T: OK, my students, today we have learned to invite others to a party by using “Can you come to my party?” and to answer an invitation politely by using “Sure, Id love to.” “Sorry, I cant.
