Games:T showed Ss the pictures about what she did last weekend very quickly and let Ss guess what she did last weekend.2. Free talk: T asks Ss what she did last weekend and lets Ss answer with complete sentences. After that, T asks Ss how they feel about those activities. 1. To introduce Ss to the topic: talk about past events.2. Arouse students interests in talking about last weekend.Step 2: Listening Task One 1. Pre-listening:T shows three descriptions about Lucys weekend activities and lets Ss guess them as quickly as they can.T shows part of the phrases for the small pictures in 1a and get Ss to fill in the blanks with the past tense forms of verbs.2. While-listening:Ss listen to the conversation and fill in the blanks with time phrases.3. Post-readingAsk and answer about the answers.1. To let Ss practice listening and master strategies in doing listening comprehension.2. To let student practice talking about past events by using past tense forms of verbs.Step 3: Listening Task Two1. Pre-listening: T indroduces Lucys classmates Becky Jack and Carol. Then T let Ss predict what they did last weekend.2. While-listening:Ss listen to the conversation and fill in the blanks with past tense forms of weekend activities.3. Post-listening:T divide the class into “Question Group” and “ Answer Group”. Let QG ask questions and AG answer the questions as quickly as they can.4. Imitation:T show the recording for part of the conversation and let Ss imitate after it. Step 4: Pairwork and Report1. Pair WorkSs work in pairs to talk about their lask weekend.2. Report:When each group finish their conversation, T asks a student of another group to make a report about their conversation.To let Ss practice talking about past events more and get them familiar with relevant sentence patterns.5 教学反思这次的课存在以下不足:1. 课堂活动没有很好地抓住大多数学生,只局限于回答问题的学生,如:在Quick questions and answers的环节,应该以小组接龙的形式展开,一组问二组答、二组问三组答、三组问四组答。(小组当中的每个人都只能轮一次);最后一个环节pairwork中,应任意指定一小组make a report;在其他小组回答问题时,可以
