Take the second turning on the right.Then go along the street.You will find it on your right.2.Ability goalImprove the students abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing.3. Be able to communicate using the target language.教学过程教学环节教师活动预设学生行为设计意图Step1GreetingsGreet the students.Greet the teacher.提醒学生已经上课。Step2Guessing gameShow pictures to the whole class.One student explains the places inEnglishand another one who doesnt look at the blackboard guesses what place it is. For example, one student say: We can save money or exchange money in this place, another one guess it is a bank. Get students to guess the places like bank, post office, bookstore, museum, bathroom, washroom, mall and so on.通过猜地名的游戏既调动了学生学习英语的兴趣,又练习了本节课的重点短语。Step3 Review1. Imagine Jim is new here. He wants to go to a post office. But He doesnt know the way .How should he ask the way? Now work in groups to discuss it and write down the sentences. 2.Show a map.Ask students to tell us how to get to the book shop.Students discuss and write down the sentences.Could you please tell me where the post office is/if there is a post office near here/how I can get to the post office/how to get to the post office?Go along River Street. Take the second turning on the right.Then go along the street.You will find it on your right.通过小组讨论,写出本节课的重点句子,充分发挥学生的主动性。Step4 PracticeShow another map. Ask students to make up conversations about it.Two students make up conversations and another student show the way on the map.根据地图编对话练习目标语言,另一个学生通过听他们的对话在地图上指出路线,练习了听力.Step5 ListeningPlay the tape twice for the students.Check the answers.Listen to the tape and finish 2a and 2b.锻炼学生的听力。Step6 Exercises一.完成句子1. 打扰了,请你告诉我怎样到达书店吗?_ _.
