Unit7 SectionB 2b Reading教学设计Should I be allowed to make my own decisions? 一、教材分析本课围绕主人公“LiuYu”是否应该被允许做出自己的决定这一话题展开,给出不同人物观点。通过课文学习,学生将学会不同意见的表达方式以及一些新词汇,从而能在日常生活中用英语恰当地表达自己的观点,有效与他人沟通。二、教学目标(一)知识目标1.Words and phrases to remember:support, enter, succeed, achieve, choice, taught, chanceget in the way, care about, make ones decision, be serious about, spend time on, achieve ones dream, have a chance to do sth etc.2. Sentences to pay attention to:1).He needs to think about what will happen if he doesnt end up as a professional runner.They always talk about what will happen if I dont succeed.2).Only then will I have a chance of achieving my dream.(二)能力目标1. Cultivate ones reading ability in two ways: read in paragraphs and read in whole.2. Learn to express ones opinion(三)情感目标Learn to arrange ones time on schoolwork and hobby properly by reading.三、教学重点、难点1.表达意见的相关词汇及句型:get in the way, care about, make ones decision, be serious about, spend time on, achieve ones dream, have a chance to do-etc.2. 学会表达自己的观点方式3.阅读技能学习,侧重速读与精读技能学习,熟练运用到阅读过程中【设计理念】能够运用句型组织句子;并能通过语言知识,学会熟练表达自己的观点,达到“练中学,学中用。”四、教学方法任务型语言教学法、自主探究、【设计理念】设计合理并具有挑战性的任务,让学生通过使用目标语言,体验成功之快乐;运用各种学习活动,调动学生内在的学习动机。五、教学过程I RevisionShow two pictures and let students talk about the school rules and their opinion.What are the rules at your school? What do you think of the rules?屏幕出示重点句型:We are allowed to .We arent allowed to I think I should be allowed to because.I dont think I should be allowed to.通过复习本单元重点句型,使学生正确使用句型We are allowed to 及We should be allowed to.II Lead in T: Whats Zhang Zhengs hobby? Is she allowed to sing? Should she be allowed to practice as much as she wants? Why/通过谈论张郑(班里的其中一个同学,音乐特长生),为学新课扫清新词障碍,同时也激发了学生的学习热情。通过谈论可以学习如下新词:get in the way, support, succeed, be serious about, have nothing against doing, make ones own decision/choiceIII Reading Task One : Whats Liu Yus hobby? Whats his opinion? Whats his reason for his opinion? 屏幕上出示 Liu Yus opinion Liu Yu thinks_ Liu Yus opinion His reasons; Because he loves _ and wants to be _.
