初中英语人教版新目标(Go for it!)七年级下册Unit 6 Im watching TV.Section A The First Period (1a-1c)广西宜州市刘三姐中学 谢婷婷 一、课型描述本节课为对话交际课。以培养学生的听说技能为主要的教学目标,围绕该单元的听说话题,立足于学生的生活实际和水平实际,创设准真实性的语言交际情境,通过最优化的课堂教学模式和课堂教学活动设计,引导学生运用有效的学习策略,使学生的自主学习与合作学习有机结合,让学生主动热情参与课堂学习,充分发挥主动性、能动性和创造性,使他们学会共同分享学习成果、体验成功的喜悦并最终达到能熟练运用目标语言的目的。二、教学时间一课时三、教材分析 本单元是人教版新目标Go for it ( 七年级下 ) Unit 6。主要围绕“What are you doing?”这一主题展开各种教学活动,并以这一主题进行语言交际的同时学习动词现在分词的构成,现在进行时态的含义、用法、肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句和特殊疑问句及其应答等语言功能。本单元旨在营造一个轻松、愉快的学习和语言交流环境,通过听、说、读、写的课堂活动来培养学生的语言交际和综合运用能力,让学生能在“做中学”(learning by doing)和“乐中学”(learning with pleasure)。Section A 1a1c部分是本单元的第一课时,这一课时通过学习常见的一些动词现在分词或短语及谈论不同的人称正在做什么引出动词现在进行时态的初步学习,为后面该时态的进一步学习起铺垫作用。三、教学目标1、知识目标(1)词汇:本课时要求理解和掌握的词汇:watch(watching) TV, clean(cleaning), read(reading) a newspaper, talk(talking) on the phone, listen(listening) to a CD, use(using) the computer, make(making) soup, wash(washing) the dishes, exercise(exercising) (2)重点句型:What are you doing? I am watching TV.What is he/she doing? He/She is using the computer.What are they doing? They are listening to a CD.(3)语法结构: The structure of the Present Progressive Tense The present participle2、能力目标 To learn some commonly used verb phrases.To learn to change base verbs into the present participle and read them.To learn to ask and answer what somebody is doing something.(1)听能目标:能听懂以 What are/is you/they/he/she doing? Im/Hes/Shes/Theyre doing something 为中心话题的相关短语和问答。(2)说能目标:能以 What are you/they doing? What is he/she doing? 为话题进行对话交际,描述正在进行的动作。(3)读能目标:能熟练朗读以本节课功能话题为中心的单词、短语、句子和对话, 能正确朗读动词的现在分词。(4)写能目标:能根据图意用现在进行时的结构写出正确的句子和描述性短文。3、情感目标通过本课时的教学活动,激发学生学习英语的强烈兴趣和乐于参加课堂教学活动的积极情感,让学生乐于参与、乐于探究、乐于合作、乐于分享,培养学生独立学习和团结合作的精神。四、教学重点、难点1、教学重点:(1)初步学习和掌握动词现在分词的两条构成规则:一般情况+ing;以不发音的字母e结尾去掉e+ing。 (2)初步了解和掌握动词现在进行时的含义、用法、结构(be+现在分词),让学生能就不同的人称正在进行的动作进行问答,完成语言交际。(3)掌握由Whatdoing? 引导的现在进行时态的特殊疑问句及回答。2、教学难点熟练掌握现在分词的正确读音、现在进行时态当主语为不同人称和数时动词Be形式的变化,并能正确运用现在进行时态的结构。五、设计思路本节课以“激发兴趣,发展思维;听说领先,读写到位;逐层训练,强化能力;综合运用,实现交际”为课堂设计思路。让学生在教师的指导下,通过感知、体验、实践、参与和合作等方式,自然地习得目标语和发展语言能力,从而感受成功的心理体验,形成积极的学习态度,促进语言实际运用能力的提高。以语言训练为载体,以发展思维和提高语言交际能力为最终教学目标。六、教学方法 情境教学法、直观教学法、交际教学法、归纳法七、学法指导通过课堂体验和学习活动,培养学生自主学习、合作学习的能力和主动探究精神,让学生学会从接受到模仿,由表达到交际,从感知到运用,逐步提高语言综合运用能力和交际能力。八、教学手段 多媒体辅助教学:多媒体课件九、教学步骤设计及时间分配Divide the whole class into six groups(将全班学生分成六个小组)Step 1 Warming up(2 minutes)The teacher asks the students to say the commonly used verbs loudly and quickly which they have learned as many as possible. Have a competition.Step 2 Words presentation and learning (10 minutes)1. Presentation Present the pictures and the base verbs in 1a one by one on the screen, ask the students to try to read them. Then present its present participle and ask the students to watch them carefully, and then find out their differences. Tell the students that the present participles mean something is happening and their pronunciation. Teach the students to read them.(领读)2. Grammar summary 1.Ask the students to sum up the two rules of how to change base verbs into the present participles according to their observation: Verb + ing , verb + ing after removing “e” not in pronunciation. Then tell the students that the present participle means something is happening. 3. Matching and reading (1) Ask the students to match the verbs or verb phrases with the correct pictures, and then check the answers.(个人抢答并记分)(2) Ask the students to read aloud the present participle phrases in Part 1a.(各小组依次朗读并记分)Correct their mistakes of the pronunciation. 4. Phrases consolidation and Memorize EnglishChinese, ChineseEnglish (小组竞赛并记分) Present the pictures in 1a quickly on the screen one by one, the students look at the pictures and read aloud the present participle phrases ( 个人抢答并记分 ) Read the nine present participle phrases in whole class one more time.(全班齐读)Step 3 Presentation and fluency practice (6 minutes)1. Present the important sentence structuresShow a picture on the screen, the teacher says: “Look at the picture, please. Its me. Im watching TV.” Ask the students to repeat this sentence. Then another picture and repeat: “ Im cleaning.” The teacher says: “Now its you in the picture. Please answer me: What are you doing? The students try to answer: Im watching TV. Im cleaning. Read aloud these sentences after the teacher.2. Show the nine pictures in Part 1a on the screen, the students practise asking and answering. Language Structure: What are you doing? Im doing(同伴交流,对子问答并记分,小组展示朗读并记分)Step 4 Listening 1b(2 minutes)1. Play the recording, the students listen carefully.2. The students write the numbers from 1a about what these people are doing: Jenny, John, Dave and Mary.3. Check the answers .(个人抢答并记分) Step 5 Questions and answers 1c (10 minutes)Look at the different people in the nine pictures in 1a, practise asking and answering. (步骤1.个人自读,教师巡视和帮助;2.组内交流;3. 对子问答并记分;4.小组竞赛并记分。)Language structures: What is he doing? Hes using the computer. What is she doing? Shes making soup. What are they doing? Theyre listening to a CD.Step 6 Consolidation and expanding (4 minutes)1. Ask some students to perform different things that he or she is doing (cleaning the floor, reading a book, talking on the phone, listening to music, exercising, playing basketball, etc.), some pairs ask and answer: What is he/she doing? He/Shes doing(个人表演动作,对子展示问答并记分)2. Ask the students to read the phrases and sentences in Part 1a & 1c freely. Step 7 Grammar Summary 2 (3 minutes)1. Let students review the two rules of how to change base verbs into the present participles that they have learnt in this period.2. Tell the students what the present progressive is and its simple usage.3. Ask the students to try to say the structure of the present progressive according to their observation “Be + present participle”. The teacher emphasizes the change of verb “Be”. Step 8 Writing(5 minutes)1. Show a photo of a family on the screen. Ask the students to look at the photo and listen to the teachers description: This is a photo of my family. We are all at home. What are we doing? Im doing my homework. My sister is reading a book. My parents are watching TV. 2. Show another photo of a family on the screen. Ask the students to imitate to describe the photo, and then write down their sentences. Finish the task individually(独立完成). 3. Ask two or three students to read aloud their writing.(个人口头展示并记分) Step 9 Summary and Harvest (2 minutes)1. Ask several students to tell the class the main content in this period and what they have gained.(抢答并记分)2. Count the total scores of each group, find out the winning group and encourage the students.
