Unit7 Should I be allowed to choose my own clothes?Section B 2a-2e Reading: Should I be allowed to make my own decision?No.5 Middle School of Luoyang Li Chunmei一、教学设计思路本节课的教学内容是英语(o for it!)九年级上册Unit7 Should I be allowed to choose my own clothes? Section B的2a-2e部分。本课时单元教学的第四课时,以阅读为主,其教学目标为通过阅读教学提升学生的阅读能力,并于阅读教学过程中进行情感渗透与思想指导当青少年与父母有不同意见时要善于进行沟通,并鼓励青少年坚持自己的梦想。从学生的兴趣出发,导入部分我采用了图片问答的方式,设计了一些同学们喜欢的明星图片并就职业进行询问,然后引导学生认识尽可能多的职业,并自然导入新课。阅读部分设计了Careful reading和After reading两部分活动。在Careful reading中采取了分段阅读,分段阅读的模式为:在书上划出相关短语,学生齐读短语,学生齐读课文,完成相关段落任务。在After reading里设计了两部分,一是总结父母和青少年的不同观点,二是复述课文。作业部分设计了以My dream job为题的作文,要求学生用课文中所学的短语进行写作。在写作之前老师以Lucy为例对课文中的短语进行运用,以期为学生作文作出范例。二、教学详案Teaching aims:1. Knowledge aims (1)Master some new words: support, enter, choice. (2)Master some phrases: get in the way of, achieve ones dream, have nothing against doing sth, end up as, decide for oneself, enter university, be serious about, care about, spend time on sth, make this choice, have a chance to do sth .2. Ability aimsUse careful reading to improve students reading abilities.3. Emotional aims In our daily life, what should you do if you have different ideas with your parents about your dreams? We should listen to our parents and talk with them. But we should also keep our dreams and never give up.Important points:1. The comprehension of the whole passage.2. How to use the phrases of the passage.Difficult points:The comprehension of the whole passage.Teaching process:Step 1:Lead-in1. Show students the title: Unit 7 Should I be allowed to make my own decisions. 2. Show some pictures to students. Let Students guess who he/she is and what his/her job is. 3. Show some words of job, then ask question: Whats your dream job? 4. Talk about these jobs with the students to expand the students vocabulary. 4. Leads to Liu Yus problem. Step2:while reading1. paragraph 1: (1) Let students find and underline the phrases on screen, then read them together. (2) Read paragraph 1 together, then choose the right answer. 2. paragraph 2: (1) Let students find and underline the phrases on screen, then read them together.(2) Read paragraph 2 together, then complete the chart. 3. paragraph 3: (1) Let students find and underline the phrases on screen, then read them together.(2) Read paragraph 3 together, then fill in the blanks. 4. paragraph 4&5: (1) Let students find and underline the phrases on screen, then read them together. (2) Read paragraph 4&5 together, then answer the questions. 5. Let students do exercise 1 with their partner. Then let students sum up which paragraph is teenagers and parents different opinions, which are Liu Yus opinions and which are parents opinions. Then write them on the blackboard. 6.Let students do exercise 2 with their partner. Reread the textbook ,and match the sentences with the paragraphs. And let two pairs of students to complete the exercise 2 in front of the class. When students match, the teacher write some important phrases on the blackboard. 7. Let students do exercise 3 with their partner in the same way as exercise 2.Step 3: After reading Retell the passage: let students fill in the blanks first, then read them together.Step 4: Deep thoughts Think about it: In our daily life, what should you do if you have different ideas with your parents about your dreams?Step5:Homework 1. Ask students questions about their dream job, use the phrases in this passage.2. Ask students to write a composition: My dream job.附 导学案Exercise 1 连线Teenagers and parents different opinion s para 1 para 2Parents opinions para 3 para 4Teenagers opinions para 5Exercise 2 连线Reread paras 2&4, discuss with your partner then match(连线). Parents opinions: Para 2 1. They believe Liu Yu should study hard in the evening. 2. They have nothing against running, but he needs to think about other possible jobs.Para 4 3. He needs to spend more time on his homework. 4. He needs to think about what will happen if he doesnt end up as a professional runnerThey think Liu Yu (should/ shouldnt ) be allowed to make his own decisions.Exercise 3 连线Part 2 Reread paras 3&5, discuss with your partner, then match(连线).Liu Yus opinions: Para 3 1. He thinks he should be allowed to make this choice himself. 2. He thinks he should be allowed to decide for himself.Para 5 3. He is serious about running.Liu Yu thinks he (should/ shouldnt ) be allowed to make his own decisions.三、教学反思在九年级英语组老师的指导与帮助之下,通过一磨、二磨、三磨,这一课终于完善成型了。在我和四班同学努力共同努力之下,这一课已经展现在了大家的面前。备课时的用心自不必说,上完课后我也陷入了思考:为什么课堂上气氛不够活跃?我想之所以会这样原因有二:一是课文难度大,学生理解起来有困难;二是学生对这种上课方式的生疏。同学们对这种课型不够熟悉,使得他们不能够预想课堂活动的下一步骤。我该怎么办呢?我想解决的方法有两个:一是早做准备,让学生尽快熟悉这种阅读课的模式;二是多设计一些活动,让活动带动课堂氛围。虽然这次赛课活动已经结束
