教学设计与反思课题:Could you please clean your room?Reading科目:English教学对象: Grade8课时: 1 课时提供者:胡琳单位: 义安区钟仓中学一、教学内容分析本节课选自人教版新目标八年级下册第三单元,本节课主要讨论的话题是学生是否应该做家务。本话题紧贴学生的日常生活实际,学生可以通过自身的经历谈谈自己的看法。通过学习本课,可以让学生了解作为家庭的一份子,我们应当为我们的家承担起我们应尽的一份责任。二、教学目标By the end of this class, 1. students can master the new words and phrases.2. students can improve their reading skills, such as skimming and scanning.3. students can have their own opinions about doing chores.4. students can help with housework at home.三、学习者特征分析通过SectionA 及SectionB第一课时的学习,同学们对各种常见家务的英文表达已经非常熟悉。并且通过对SectionA阅读文章的学习,意识到了作为孩子在家庭中应当承担部分的家务,这对于本节课的学习就有了铺垫。初二的学生在心理上正处于叛逆期,但这个时期也正是他们敢于打破传统表达自己思想的时期,因此课堂上我会充分利用这一点引导他们表达自己的看法。并且我会利用一部分活跃的学生来调动课堂气氛激励一部分有些内向的学生开口说英语。四、教学策略选择与设计因本节课为阅读课的第一课时,因此,学习新词汇和理解掌握文章内容为本节课的关键。为了培养学生的自主阅读能力和合作能力我主要采用Task-based teaching methods and group work.五、教学重点及难点Students can finish the reading tasks, learn about the sentence structures and important information of the text and give their opinions about doing chores at home.六、教学过程教师活动学生活动设计意图Step I. Pre-reading1. Warming up Greet the students and introduce myself.2. Lead-inUse some pictures of my son to teach the new words. Ask students to read the words after me. I will use some word cards to help teaching words.Ask students whether they do chores at home.1. Greet me.2. Listen to me and read the words after me one by one or together. Talk whether students should do chores or not.由于这是借班上课,因此,一开始通过介绍自己与孩子引出我们即将要学习的话题较为自然,并且可以拉近与学生的距离。同时利用情境学习生词,降低单词的学习难度,使学生能够快速掌握。Step II. While-reading1.Skimming Complete the blanks about skimming. Have Ss answer two questions. Which one agrees? Which one disagrees? 2.Careful reading Listen and read after the tape. Complete the two blanks. Have Ss read carefully again and list out the pros and cons. Then check the answers with them. Have Ss retell the letters with the mind map.1. Read the tips on the right corner and complete the sentences showed on the screen.Answer the two questions.2.Listen and read after the tape in silence. Then read their answers and check with their classmates and me together.Students retell the letters with the mind map printed on the screen.通过阅读泛读的定义,让学生通过填空掌握泛读技巧并及时运用于寻找这两封信的观点。接着,让学生听课文的录音,加强语音语调的模仿练习,从而能够因人而异的纠正某些同学某些单词不正确的发音,并通过跟读训练学生们默读的能力。然后,通过寻找不同观点的支撑点培养学生总结,归纳信息的能力。最后,让学生根据我在上课过程中梳理的思路图进行两封信件内容的重组,从而培养学生对信息的概括总结能力及语言表达能力。Step III. Post-reading1. Have students talk in groups and write down different opinions. Then ask some of them to show their opinions.2. Students summarize with me together. 通过小组讨论培养学生的团队合作精神,并且有利于交换意见,促进学生相互学习。在发表看法时,同学们表现出极大的热情,积极参与。最后的总结帮助同学们再次回顾今天所学,帮助学生更好的整理知识。Homework1. Do some chores today to let your parents know you love them. 2. Write down your ideas about doing chores. Students do it at home.通过回家亲身体验做家务再写出自己对做家务的看法,有感而发,感触更深,更能有话可说。七、教学评价设计班别_姓名:_得分:_The things I didEvaluationI played an active role in this class54321I expressed myself in English very well54321I followed my teacher well and took somenecessary notes54321I worked together with my partners very well.54321I made some progress in this class54321TOTAL SCORES20-25:Excellent15-19:Very good10-14:Good5-9:Just so-so1-4:Need to improve八、板书设计Could you please clean your room?Should students do chores at home?Ms.Millers opinion my opinion Mr. Smiths opinion Cons Pros FAMILY 九教学反思本节课我通过自我介绍导入新课单词,并在意境中出示单词,利用事先做好的单词卡片带领学生读单词,并强调某些易发错的音节。通过同学们的表现,我感觉这样的学习生词效果还是不错的,特别是在展示depend on时,我出示了一幅老人牵手的漫画和一幅孩子依偎在妈妈怀里的漫画,在展现这两幅漫画带来的意境的同时,我也模仿了一下老奶奶,从而使学生们更加深刻的感觉到终究有一天父母会老去,我们不能总是依赖父母要学会独立。那么如何学会独立,从而引出我们今天的讨论话题,孩子们要不要学会做家务。进而通过一系列的任务来解剖这两封信
