(2)We should protect our environment. 二、教学内容分析 本单元是Go for it!七年级下册第七单元Unit 7 Its raining!。本单元的话题是“The weather(天气)”。学习本单元主要是让学生掌握“Describe the weather”(描述天气)和“Describe what you are doing”(描述正在做的事)。在整个初中三年的学习中,有多个单元与本单元所涉及的语言知识相关联,例如七年级下册Unit6 Im watching TV.为本单元提供了话题和语法知识的支持。同时也为八年级下册Unit5What were you doing when the rainstorm came?提供话题及语法知识的支撑。本单元涉及三个子话题:天气情况(Weather conditions)、天气预报(Weather report)、衣着与天气(Appropriate dressing for the weather)。Talk about weather是中考中常见的话题。所以学好本单元会为以后的学习打下基础。本单元主要谈论描述天气及不同天气状况下所做的事。能描述各种常见天气。能正确使用现在进行时态(Present progressive tense); 能用how引导的问句表达问候。关心与我们紧密联系的天气状况,以及如何在不同天气下如何应对,培养学生具有一定的环保意识、责任意识和关爱他人之心,达到人与自然的和谐。本节课为第七单元第四课时。根据新课标要求,本课以The weather为话题,围绕describe the weather和describe what you are doing这两个功能展开的。本课时是一节听说课,教学内容与贴近学生实际生活,容易激发学生交流的兴趣。同时,在循序渐进提高学习的过程中,本课时教学内容的学习,会为本单元的进一步学习基础,为最后语言的输出(写作)提供有力的支持。三、学情分析本单元的教学对象为七年级(6)班,全班59名学生。本班学生英语水平差异较大,参差不齐。半数学生对英语学习有着积极的态度和兴趣,但是也有部分学生的英语学习态度需要提高,需要教师提高课堂的趣味性,以吸引和鼓励学生。经过Unit 6 Im watching TV. 的学习后,同学们已经对现在进行时有一定的了解,具有了学习本单元知识的认知前提。许多有关世界各国天气的信息能激发他们的好奇心,描述当前正在发生的事能引起学生较大的兴趣,有利于本课的教学和学生学习兴趣的培养。四、教学策略选择与设计本课采用情景教学法、游戏教学法及任务型教学法,以学生为主体,在教师引导下学生使用课件进行自主式、探究式学习与两两对话相结合的学习方式,运用多媒体(视频,音频,图片等)手段来辅助教学。五、教学重点及难点1. 教学重点:1) 继续学习有关天气的词汇,运用所学的词汇来描述天气。2) 描述在不同的天气情况中人们正在做的事情。3) 训练听力,提高获取相关信息的能力。2. 教学难点: 1) 进行听力训练,培养学生们的听说能力。 2) 描述在不同的天气情况中人们正在做的事情。六、教学过程教师活动学生活动设计意图Step 1 Greeting.Greet the students as usual.1. Be prepared for the class.使学生进入学习状态,引起学习兴趣,做好课前准备。Step 2 Revision Show the picture(PPT)T: Hows the weather?S:T: What are they doing?S:学生根据PPT展示的图片进行回答S: Its snowy.S: They are cooking.复习目标语言,对已学知识进行复习,现在进行时态和天气的问答。Step 3 Lead-in1. Guide the students to watch the video, and pay attention to the weather.Its also a small game.2.
