Unit10 Youresupposed to shake hands(Review)教学设计执教者 华萌萌人教版(2013版本)山东省济南市章丘市白云湖中学一、 教材分析本节课是一节整个单元的复习课,从以下几个方面进行复习。 第一部分:重点复习一些常见国家的英文表达,以及该国在初次见面时的行为与语言, 该话题能激起学生的好奇心,调动学生学习英语的积极性。重点帮助学生练习“be supposed to do” 的用法,在不断的练习中达到掌握以及熟练运用的目的。第二部分围绕different countries. different customs 为话题来进行听、说、读、写活动。描述自己或他人在不同场合应该做什么be supposed to do sth,不应该做什么be (not)supposed to do sth。讨论不同国家的风俗习惯,如初次见面的礼仪,餐桌礼仪等,进一步提高文明意识,养成良好的行为习惯,培养学习兴趣。二、教学目标和要求知识目标:1、能够使用be supposed to do谈论不同国家人们初次见面时的礼仪2、掌握关键词:shake hands , bow , kiss ,custom3、句型: A: What are you supposedto do when you meet someone for the first time?B: We are supposed to shake hands/bow/kiss.能力目标:正确运用短语:be supposed to, should do something ,情感目标:本单元以谈论“习俗”为话题,了解各地不同的文化知识,从而让学生知道哪些是应该做的,哪些是不应该做的,要学会尊重不同的文化,养成良好的行为习惯,培养学生的学习兴趣。了解各国餐桌礼仪和饮食文化知识,体验西方人的日常生活乐趣。三、教学重点1. The customs of some countries.2. Tell what you are supposed to do in different situations.四、教学难点Can use“be supposed to” correctly.五、 教学策略本课主要是一节复习课,但是并不是仅仅单纯的复习知识点.根据英语课程标准及英语教学大纲的要求,在本节课的教学过程中,采用“小组合作“以及“任务型”的教学途径,借助多媒体,增强趣味性和直观性,增大课堂容量,提高课堂效率,面向全体同学,在听说过程中帮助学生掌握知识、发展能力、形成正确的价值观.同时把对知识点的复习贯穿在活动中,不仅复习到了知识,还把知识进行了运用。六 教学过程一课堂导入Lead-inT: We review this unit from three parts. What are you supposed to do when you meet someone for the first time? Different ideas and customs in different countries. Table manners around the worldT: There are many countries in the world. Do you know them? Show them some flags of the countries.(Brazil,the United States,Japan,Korea,Mexico,China) Lead students to review these countriesSs:Read after me二,课堂讲授Step 1T: What are you supposed to do when you meet someone for the first time in the United States?I am supposed to shake hands in the United States. T:Who can ask and answer with body language? Ss: S1:What are you supposed to do when you meet someone for the first time in the United States?S2:I am supposed to shake hands in the United States.学生互相问答并用肢体语言表现“shake hands”接下来学生依次互用上面的句型相问答在墨西哥,韩国,日本,巴西第一次见面应该做什么,表现“bow”“kiss”。意在:让学生反复练习此句型,掌握be supposed to do T:What are people in China supposed to do when they meet someone for the first time?They are supposed/ expected to bow/shake hands/hug/kissT: Ask students “Which one do you choose?”S1:We are supposed to shake hands.S2: We are supposed to shake hands.T:Pay attention to :be supposed to do=be expected to do T: Take out your text paper and finish the first part.Ss:学生完成当堂检测的第一部分T: Check your answers. 学生一边说答案,我一边在黑板上板书:be supposed to do =be expected to do=should doStep2 Free TalkT: What are you supposed to do if you are invited to a friends house? Which group wants to share your discussion about it.Ss:因为是复习课,学生讨论不会很难,可以根据课本学过的内容和实际生活回答出很多条。For example: S1:We are supposed to be on time.S2: We should buy some gifts.S3:We should have right table manners 由学生小组内的讨论,引出下面我要复习的内容T:It is important for us to be on time if you are invited to a friends house. Different countries have different coustoms about being on time. What about it in Colombia and Switzerland. (由上面的Free Talk 自由的过度到要复习的课本A部分的短文)T: Imagine you are foreigners.Boys are from Colombia.Girls are from Switzerland.Introduce your customs to us.(本部分的复习放在一个小的情景中)学生开始看书3a,复习3a的课本内容 ,完成3b T: Ask students to recall some information from 3b. T: What about customs in China? In customs, which country is similar to china? Ss: Switzerland T:Think about yourself. Are you a student who is on time? If youre, put up your hands. T:Senior high school entrance examination (中考) is coming. How many months are there? Ss: Two months. T: What are you supposed to do ? All of us agree that we should pay attention to table manners during our life. Different countries have different table maners. Whats the table manners in China?(由free talk 当主线串气本节课的复习,环环紧扣) T:Show pictures about tables manners in China.S1: Read:You shouldnt point at anyone with your chopsticks.S:Recall the sentence.Youre not supposed to eat with your hands.You are not supposed to stick your chopsticks into the food.The youngest person is not supposed to start eating first.采用同样的方式练习以上句子 How about table manners in France(自然过渡到这个环节)(不是机械的让学生复习B部分的短文,是放在任务情景中完成对课本知识的操练和复习。)T:Your friend from France invited you to eat dinner,but you made some mistakes about table manners.What happened?
