What kind of + n would you like?What size would you like?3. 通过听力训练,在情景交际中练习语言点,提高英语听说能力。4 .通过了解一些饮食搭配,养成良好的饮食习惯。1. 掌握表示点餐的词汇与句型。2. 区分表示食物的名词是可数名词还是不可数名词。 本课时的教学内容是人教版七年级下册英语第十单元的第一课时,首先引导学生观看图片,理解语境,从谈论喜欢的食物开始,自然地导入点餐的话题。What would you like? Id like the beef noodles.以活动和任务引起学生的听说兴趣,训练学生的听力和口语表达能力。利用图片学习英语单词,同时在对话中反复运用新学的单词和短语。因此,教师可以将知识目标定为掌握本课时新出现的单词和短语,点餐的句型。能力目标定为提高听说能力,情感目标定为体验用英语表达自己的快乐。设计教学PPT,录音机,多媒体,相应的插图。Step 1.Lead inLeading in 【情景1】A: What does he do?B: He is a cook, I think.A: What does he look like?B: He has a big nose and he wears a white uniform.A: What is he doing?B: He is cooking.A: But what is he cooking?B: He is cooking some noodles.A: Would you like some noodles?B: Yes, Id like some noodles.1.Review the names of some fruit and vegetables.2.Write on the board: Unit 10 Id like some noodles.设计意图通过谈论对食物的喜好,来导入新课。这样设计既能帮助学生呈现知识网络,又能自然导入新课。简洁明了。Step 2.Presentation (1a)1.New wordsShow pictures to the students about mutton, beef, noodles, chicken, cabbage, potatoes, tomatoes, carrots.Then learn about these new words.T: Now class, look at the picture. Whats this?Ss: Its mutton.T: Follow me, muttonLearn about other new words in this way.2.ChantAsk students to learn to chant, and make up their own chants in groups.Learn to chant one sentence by one sentence,and ask the Ss to pay attention to the intonation.3.Match the words with the foods in 1a.T: Now look at the pictures in 1a, and match the words with the foods quickly.I give you only one minute.Ss match the words and foods as quickly as they can.T: Lets check the answers together.Mutton is g.The second one beef Check the answers like this one by one.【Keys】 1a: 1.g2.b3.c 4.d 5.e 6.f 7.a 8.h设计意图在这一环节中,chant形式活泼,学生爱学,爱读,学生通过活动,感悟理解新单词句型,不仅使课堂活跃起来,而且所有学生都参与其中,真正体现了学生的主体地位。 Step 3.Listening (1b)2.While listeningPlay the recording for the first time.Get the class to finish the task in Activity 1b.Play the recording again.And ask the questions to check their listening.T:What would the person like?Ss:Hed like beef noodles.T:So we chooseS: Special 1.The teacher plays the tape for the third time and the class read aloud in pairs.T: Listen to the tape again.Try to repeat the sentences after the tape and pay attention to the intonation.Ss listen and repeat.【Keys】1b: Special 1设计意图通过这种轻松自由交谈的方式,引出课本的重点句型,用对话形式加以练习,活跃了气氛,掌握了句型,为下面的听力做好了准备。完成听力任务,再次播放录音,让学生模仿跟读,纠正学生的语音语调。Step 4.Post-listening Activities (1c)1.After listening to the conversation, get the class to read them aloud.T: Now lets listen to the tape and read the conversation in 1a.Ss read aloud.Then practice the conversation.Focus on the stressed words, pronunciation and intonation.2.T: Now ask and answer about these people.Use he,she or they.Ss work in pairs.The teacher explains the differences of “some” and “any”.设计意图学生在听了细节之后,朗读巩固;用游戏代替机械枯燥的单词句型操练,不仅唤起了学生的兴趣和好奇心,使他们在游戏中不知不觉地进行新知识练习,而且也激发了学生自主学习的积极性,提高了学生的学习兴趣和参与意识。 Step 5.Listening(2a-2c)1.Before listening T: Look at the picture in 2a.What can you see in the picture?Ss:I can see some vegetables and noodles.T: Can you match the words with the pictures?Ss: Of course.(Try to match them as quickly as they can.)T: Can you guess what we may listen to next?Ss: Yes/No.2.While listeningT:Now you will hear a conversation in a noodle house.Try your best to catch what they say.Check the names of the foods you hear.Play the recording for the students to listen.Play the recording for the second time to check their answers.T: What names did you check?Ss: Noodles, chicken, potatoes, cabbage, beef and tomatoes.T: Now listen again.Complete the sentences in 2b.Play the recording again.Students try to write down their answers in the blanks.Then play it next time for the students to check their answers.T: Ill ask two Ss to read their answers.First one, the boys.S1: 1.Id like a large bowl of noodles.2.Id like chicken, potato and cabbage noodles.T: Very good.The answers are large, chicken, potato, cabbage.The second one, the girls.S2: 1.Id like a medium bowl.2.Id like beef and tomato noodles, please.T: Very good.The answers are medium, beef and tomato.T: Now lets repeat the conversation.Listen carefully, and try to repeat sentence after sentence.Try your best to imitate the pronunciation, intonation and stress.Ss listen and repeat.3.After listening T: Now make up your own conversations in a noodle house like this: (Show it on the PPT.)A: Would kind of noodles would you like?B: Id like mutton and carrot noodles.A: What size would you like?B: A large one.T: Lets play a passing game!
