Listen to CDs and enjoy the pictures.【设计意图: 进入课文的时候,让学生先听,然后就对话的理解,回答概括性的问题,培养孩子认真倾听,理解及反应能力。达到动静结合,体现出英语教学的strirring activity and setting activity 两个重要的环节。】 S1: Midge fell off his bike. He didnt want to go to hospital.【设计意图: 通过故事的起因经过结果开展学习,理解故事. 由Midge 去医院开始的害怕不愿意到后来觉得住院挺好的,心里的变化的线索来设计问题,层层深入,理解故事,引发学生求知欲。在教授The ambulance came .的时候,本课两个相同发音的过去式单词came,gave是语音教学的切入点,为了长期培养发音语感,故设计一组元音发音相同的的单词让学生操练,以此来调动积极性和竞争意识,开展绕口令比赛,使枯燥的拼读练习变得有趣而形式多样。】2. What can he do at home? 【设计意图:为了对故事的深入了解,设计两个可以探讨的问题,和学生一起互动,让学生积极思考,发挥想象。】T:Midge was unlucky,he fell off his bike.T: Why did he fall off his bike?S1:Midge wanted to be a stunt man.S2: He rode his bike very fast,then he bumped his head with a tree.S3: He listened to the music,then he fell off his bike.S4: He was a green hand.S5: He was naughty.He closed his eyes.S6: He saw one hundred yuan.He wanted to pick it up.S7: He saw a monster .He was frighted.T: He couldnt do lots of things in hospital. He couldnt watch TV. He couldnt play compter games.So when he went back to home ,what can he do at home? S1:He ate a cake. S2: He played with his little brother. S3: He played with a puppy. S4: He read story for his brother. S5: He went for a walk with his father. S6: He visited his friends. S7: He went swimming with friends .That is so funny. S8: He slept a long time.【设计意图:Midge为什么摔倒,给学生一定时间让学生大胆地想象和猜测,进而培养孩子的发散思维能力和想象能力。】3. Retell the story according to the blackboard design. V.
