In this period, teacher leads students to learn the new words and the sentence patterns about weather. The students learn them by speaking and listening. After learning them, ask the students to use the words and the sentence patterns to make “a weather report show” at the end of this period. 二、 学情分析The students in Class 2, Grade7 are good at making show, so there will be a weather show after they learn the new words and the sentence patterns about weather. The students can master the new words and the sentence patterns happily by using them in the show.三、教学目标Knowledge: (1) Important words: rain-rainy-raining, wind-windy, cloud-cloudy, sun-sunny, snow-snowy-snowing, weather.(2) The important sentence patterns: -Hows the weather in Shanghai?-Its cloudy.(3) The difficult sentence patterns:- Hows the weather in Shanghai?=Whats the weather like in Shanghai? -Its rainy.= Its a rainy day.Skills: (1) Students can predict the main idea of listening material by looking at the pictures.(2) Students write down the key words by listening.Culture: (1) Communication: To make students know that Weather is very important in peoples “small talk”.(2)Emotion: After clouds, calm weather.四、教学重难点Teaching important points:1. What are they doing?Ss: They are talking with their friends.T: What is he doing?Ss: He is doing his homework.Through reviewing the important sentence patterns of the present progressive tense, students can deepen the impression of the grammar.Step2. Lead-inT: What are they doing?Ss: They are playing soccer.T:How s the weather in this picture?Ss: Its sunny.T: And hows the weather in this picture ?Ss: Its raining.T: Today we learn “unit 7 Its raining!”Through the connection between “What are they doing?” and “Hows the weather?”, the teacher can lead the students to learn the new unit naturally.Step3. Presentation(New words)n . adj. v.+ingrain-rainy-raining, wind-windy, cloud-cloudy, sun-sunny, snow-snowy-snowing归纳:n.+y=adj.Make the students understand the different forms of the word easily.Step4. A Train gameWhen the teacher points at the group and the word, the group must stand up quickly, speak out the word loudly, and then sit down. And the teacher will point at another group, they will do the same. 1. This game cant only motivate students interest, but also can make students concentrate on this class with their eyes, ears and their brains.2. HomeworkWrite a weather report.After class, students can consolidate the words and sentence patterns by writing a weather report. 七、板书设计:unit 7 Its raining!n . adj. v.+ingrain-rainy-raining, wind-windy, cloud-cloudy, sun-sunny, snow-snowy-snowing难点突破:- Hows the weather in Shanghai?=Whats the weather like in Shanghai?上海的天气怎么样? -Its rainy.= Its a rainy day. 下雨天。8、 课后反思 考虑到初一学生的年龄水平,在上完单词后,给他们准备了一个火车接龙游戏,老师一手指单词一手指组别,指到的小组需要整组站起来大声说出单词并坐下,然后指向另一组也以同样的方式进行游戏。这个活动可以调动学生学习积极性。在上这节课的听力部分时,在做了原文听力练习1b后,我又把听力原文改编成中考题型,让学生熟悉中考听力
