1Unit 10 You are supposed to shake handsPeriod 1 Section A 1a-2d(人教版九年级英语) 作者:杨水莲 指导教师:叶莲英 兴国县鼎龙中学本课分析:本课是一节听说课。通过Free talk:Do you like traveling ? 来导入新课。引到学生通过谈论不同国家的习俗和在当地被期望做的事而导入句型:be supposed /expected to do sth 学情分析:九年级的学生语言感知能力较强,加上多数同学很想了解不同国家的风俗习惯,文化差异。他们对本课应该比较有兴趣,应用新句型进行语言输出的愿望比较强。1.学生能学会重点单词,短语:custombow kiss greet 和一些国家的名称:BrazilJapan Korea Mexico2.学生能掌握重点句型be supposed /expected to do sth并应用3.学生能了解各国不同的文化习俗,学会在不同的场合得体表现教学重难点重点:句型结构 be supposed /expected to do sth难点:中西方人们见面礼仪的差别。培养学生的跨文化交际意识课时安排:1课时课前准备:1.让学生提前了解尽可能多的其它国家的礼仪习惯。2.多媒体课件和学案教学方法:任务型教学法,情景交际法教学过程设计新课导入Step1:Lead-in1.师生讨论: 学生在学校应该做哪些事情?引出新句型。如 :Is it a good idea to come to class late?S: No. T: Thats right. Its not a good idea to come late. You shouldnt/are not supposed to come to class late. You shouldn/are supposed to sleep in class, listen carefully in class every day, raise your hand before talking等做更多的练习,引出和强调 be supposed to句型2.Have a free talkT:Do you like traveling?Which country would you like to visit best?S:Canada/the United States /JapanT:If we visit a foreign country, what are you supposed to know?S:CustomT:Do you know what are you supposed to do when you meet someone in a foreign country for the first time ?(设计意图:通过自由交谈,让学生结合自身实际讨论中外差异,激活学生的背景知识,导入句型:What are you supposed to do when you meet someone for the first time ?)新知呈现:Step2:Presentation1.Play the pictures(设计意图:让学生通过观看图片,初步形成初次见面的礼仪的影响。)2.Present different countriescustoms when they meet for the first time.(设计意图:通过与学生交流,既能拓展学生的知识面,增强跨文化交际意识,也能训练学生运用句型:be supposed to do sth 与be expected to do sth.)(讨论完毕)教师引导:Are people supposed to shake hands in the United States?3.Work on 1a:What do people do when they meet for the first time ?
