Step 1Free talk.After watching the video, let Ss talk about the questions:1. What could you get from the song?2. What do you think of this song?Step 2Show Ss some pictures about different kinds of pollution and ask Ss to look at these pictures and then tell with the partner what they will think about.Step 3Discussion.Whatkindsofpollutionsdoyouknow?What caused these pollutions?Step 4Show Ss some words and then ask them to read these words and put them into the related pollution.Step 5List the reasons of pollution and then give more reasons that you know.Step 6Ask Ss to listen and complete the sentences.Step 7Listen again and answer the questions.Step 8Pair works. Ask Ss to role-play the conversation with your partner by using the information in 1a.For example:Mark: The river was dirty. Even the bottom of the river was full of rubbish.Tony: But it used to be so clean!Mark: Yes, but people are throwing litter into the river.Tony: Everyone in this town should play a part in cleaning it up!Step 9Listen to the conversation and find the kinds of pollution they talk about.Step 10Let Ss to listen again and answer the questions.Step 11Ask Ss to complete the sentences with the given words and meanings.Step 12Pair works.Ask Ss to role-play the conversation with their partner after the example.For example:Jason: The air has become really polluted around here.
