教学设计 秦红艳一 教材分析:本节内容是人教实验版Go for it ! 第一单元My names Gina 中Section B(1a2a)的内容。而Section B的内容是在Section A的基础上进行活动内容拓展,丰富了语言输入。1a1e的听说活动用于学习“询问及告知电话号码”的目标语言(zero nine)。1d1e听力中的4个小对话将问候、介绍、询问姓名及电话号码等内容有机融合在一起,不仅重现了Section A的目标语言,还有所提升。1f则让学生在有趣活动中练习并巩固询问与告知电话号码的目标语言。而2a是一个阅读前活动,要求学生区分英文中的姓和名并体会中英文姓名之间的差异,为阅读做准备。通过上述内容Section B的重点则是数字09及电话号码的表达,让学生在综合语境中介绍自己和朋友的信息。教学内容及课堂活动则以数字zero nine及运用和英文名first name与last name为主线展开!二 . 学情分析: 本节内容是在介绍自己打招呼的基础上进行电话号码询问与告知,而电话号码则要用到数字。大多数学生因小学学过英语,因此对数字有一定的了解和掌握。即能认识,能书写,但不能灵活运用。例如听到一组电话号码不能立即反应或写出来。而对于中西文化名字的差异,大多数学生的概念是模糊的。班级差异中20班学生在课堂学习中稍显沉闷。因此,课堂设计时侧重对数字的听说训练,设计有趣又有效的活动能激发学生兴趣,也能活跃课堂气氛。三 . 教学目标 :1 、学生通过学习及课堂活动训练,要求其能熟练掌握运用数字zero nine并用数字询问、告知电话号码,并能进行简单的听、说及口语交际。2 、通过了解和学英文名字中的first name 和last name进一步明白中西人名的表达与差异!并能结合Section所学进行自我介绍或信息提取,为Section 3b2c的阅读做准备。四 . 教学重、难点 : 1、教学重点 :(1)数字09及电话号码的表达 Vocabulary : zero , one , two , three , four , five , six , seven , eight , nine , (ten 拓展) telephone , number , phone . Sentences : Whats your / his / her / telephone number ? My / His/ Her telephone / phone number is _ Its_ Whats your / her / his first name? My/His/Her first name is _ . Whats your / her / his last name?My / Her / His last name is _. 英文名和姓即first name / given name和last name / family name以及英语名字与汉语名字之间的不同。 2、教学难点 :(1)数字的听写。 (2)英语的姓和名的顺序与汉语姓和名的差异。五 . 教学方法 : 1、视频、图片导入法。 2、演示法。口语交际。 3、信息输入,听力训练。六 . 学习方法 : 1、自我认知。 2、合作交流。 3、探究展示。七 . 教学过程 : Step One: Revision1. Lead in Listen to an English song named Ten Little Indian Boy. Show 2 pictures of an Indian boy and an Indian girl . Whats the song about ? Whats her name ?(运用视频英文儿歌引出标题和数字。目的:引起学生注意,并知道将要学习的内容) 2. Show a picture of a gentle man which is made of numbers. Ask students to figure out numbers(08) , then watch and tell (学生说,教师板书) extend : 9、10 .Step Two: Presentation. 1. Learn numbers. (1) Read the numbers on the Bb. Pay attention to the pronunciation. Show pictures on PPT. Ask Ss to read and count numbers according to the number of those cartoon animals. (2) Read from 1 to 9 , then from 91 clearly , quickly and frequently . Ss are excited to read and practice.(目的:激发学生热情,学生有信心也乐于展示,面向全体学生) 2. Practice telling numbers . Activity 1:Show pictures zero to nine . Ask a line of Ss to read and tell numbers one by one .(目的:引起注意,提高学生参与度) Activity 2: A game call “3 pass”. When students meet 3 or multiple of 3 like, 6 、9they should say “pass” . Student 1: one .Student 2 : two . Student 3: “pass. If someone is wrong, he or she must make the sound like a pig. Ask two rows of Ss to play .(目的:提高学生学习英语的积极性,活跃课堂气氛,提高学生训练参与度,。) Activity 3: Can you work out the math problems? Show some math questions like. Whats 3 and 4? Its seven. Whats 10 minus 0? Its ten . 3+5=8 6+3=9 73=4 92=7 Then ask some of Ss to tell the answers .(目的:适当拓展,注意深度,考虑学生层次,照顾到尖子生。) 3. Show some pictures and conclude the importance of numbers. T:“Numbers are useful in our daily life .” Esp. when you make telephone callsTwo groups of pictures (PPT): (1)group one : an ID card number a car number a room number a school ID card number (2) 119 , 110 , 120 , 10086 .图 (目的:联系生活实际,教师通过口语展示,也是进行语言输入,使学生感兴趣并明白数字在实际生活中的运用,并让学生养成仔细观察的习惯.) 4. (1) Show a picture of a telephone and a cell phone/mobile phone . Then show a group of telephone number. Show a picture of me on PPT. Tell Ss: My telephone number is _ / Its _ . Whats your telephone number?(his/her) 由数字自然过渡到询问并告知电话号码的句型并板书。 (2) Ask Ss to make a small conversation in pairs. Then show their conversations.(4 pairs) (目的:运用目标语言进行简单的口语交际,让学生合作、交流、探究、展示。) (3) 拓展句型:Whats her / his telephone number ? Ask and answer: Who is your math teacher? Whats his telephone number? 5. Listening Practice. Come to students book page 4. Finish activity 1a1e.Check the answers together or ask some of the students to tell the answers. If Ss cant do it easily, try to play the tape the second time. (目的:回归课本,将问候、数字、询问并告知、电话号码的句型结合并进行听力训练,达到听的能力提升。) 6. Present the English names and Chinese names. (PPT) (1)Show a picture of a famous star “Taylor Swift” who is well-known and popular with students. Ask and answer.A: Whats her name? B: Her name is Taylor Swift. Then show her first name and her last name. (目的:指出英文名中姓和名的英文的表达。并拓展对应的given name 与family name. (2) Show another picture of Michael Jackson(杰克逊) 目的:加深认识,让学生明白first name与last name .(3) a picture of a Chinese Star Lu Han (鹿晗) . 目的:指出Chinese name is different from English names .(4) Show my name: Qin Hongyan on the blackboard. 目的:巩固了解汉语名和姓即first name 和 last name 是与英语名和姓相反。7. (1) Activity 2a on page 4. Write F for first name. Write L for last name. 目的:通过检测让学生充分掌握first name与last name . (2) Ask some of the Ss to show their answer (3) 总结英文名和姓与汉语名和姓的区别(a picture with words on PPT)。8. Practice. (1) Show 3 pictures of cartoon people and their names . Ask Ss to make conversations. A: Whats her / his first name? B: Her / His first name is _. A: Whats her / his last name? B: Her / His first name is _ . (2) Ask 4 pairs of students to show their conversations 目的:区分名和姓,并运用目标语言简单交际。Step Three: Consolidation and Practice. 1. Show Information of two little babies, an English girl and a Chinese boy on PPT. Ask Ss to read and get information from the small paragraphs. 2. Answer the questions according to these two small paragraphs. Whats her/his first name? Whats her/his last name? Whats her/his telephone number. 目的:综合运用。通过本节的学习,运用所学内容进行阅读检测,即提高阅读能力,又再现并运用目标语言。Step Four: Summary(1) Summarize the words of numbers.(2) How to ask and tell telephone numbers.(3) First name and last name . Differences between Chinese name & English names .Step Five: Homework.Make an ID card of your own
