T: OK! Youre right. Today well learn how to ask the way when you are needed. This lesson well finish 3 tasks.1. Study new words on page 43-44.2. Master the prepositions in this lesson.3. Role-play the conversation.Step 4 New words study.Show some pictures about the new words. Let the students read it one by one till then can read them fluently. At last, do a quiz.Step 5 Preposition study.Show some pictures about prepositions, learn “next to , near , across from , in front of , behind. ”Then ask 3 students stand in front of the blackboard and practice “Where is she/he? ” . The others answer it using “Its next to /across from”Step 6 Listening practice. 1. (1b) Play the recorder. Then show the pictures on page 43, let the students circle the places in the pictures. At last, ask students to repeat the sentences after the tape.2. (2b) Play the recorder and fill in the blanks with the words in the box, then repeat after the tape.Step 7 Role-play the conversation.Ask 2 group students to show their talent in front of the class.Step 8 PracticeDo some exercises.Step 9 SummaryThis lesson we have learned how to ask ways.
