readingmaterial(like“cotton”,“condition”,“efficiently”),and thentheymaynot beable tounderstand allthe details ofthe targetreadingmaterial.Solutions:1.Before readingthetargetreadingmaterial,give Sssome vividexamples toshow howto guess the new words,and thenmake themdo enoughexercise whichis fromeasy todifficult.It canmake themto getsome necessaryreading abilitiesand beconfident enough.2.As theycant guessor understand thewholetext,Ssarejust supposedto applythe readingstrategies to guess somemost importantwords ofthe reading materials,so theywillbeable tounderstandthemain ideaand somemost
